In the west, we are an exclusive society. You're always either too old, the wrong class, race, nationality, religion, etc. to be invited over to join in socially and nobody has any interest in you, which is very sad.

It is understandable that people in tourist area want your money since it is their job to get money from tourists.

If you are a frequent customer at any local restaurant or food stall you would occasionally get extra food, freebies or even meal on credit if you forgot to bring money.

Foreigners have to understand that they are only a "Walking ATM Card"!!! That it! I visited since 1989 .....I know . It is like tourists coming to your country. You like them if they give you money and do NOT like them if they do not! Same same!!

Interesting when you talk about your health. I have had the same struggle with my health last august. I was sick at first 2 weeks, then I thought I'm over it for a week and I got even more sick again for several weeks. Hard coughing, sweating, fever and and and... I think the first 2 weeks of my sickness I've got a classical cold and after that I've got a Legionella infection from bad and dirty water. It felt like a cold but nothing of the normal medicine, vitamins etc. helps. Only the antibiotics changed the game for me. This is the first time I have had these experience and after that I highly recommend to avoid drinking water (by accident) from shower or brushing teeth. I'm relativley sure that I've got it from this because after some heavy rain the water in my condo have had a strange smell. To be back on 99% health it needs near 2 month for me... Btw. I know your mental struggle you have. If you travel alone like we do there is a time where you feel "alone and empty". I come over it really quick but there were a few days which let me ovethink and struggle with some things. Maybe I have had this struggle because I was sick at this time too and I felt alone. Keep going Mikkel - better times will come soon

This first your clip i saw sice you post. If my garden want to do AirBNB I hope have some people want to come and relaxing here. My garden is far from Ubonratchathani town about 60 kms. Far from district about 10 kms. Is rural life of thai farmer here. Quiet place. Not easy to stay for some people like civilization town
