Never liked how the DS logo in these commercials were a bit botched.

You can see in both the Inika and Mahri animations that they were placing special emphasis on Matoro, they were hinting what was going to happen.

I first got wind of the existence of Bionicles with the Toa Hordika generation, when the ad for the Battle of Metru Nui came out. I saw the ad and wouldn't stop talking about how cool that looked, so the following birthday, I got every single one of the Toa Hordika. Never had the Metru Nui playset, but I didn't mind, I was all about the cool robots. And when my family noticed how much I played with them, they also proceeded to get me some of the previous generations. By the end of that, I also had one of the original Toa, one of the Toa Nuva, three of the Bohrok-Kal and two of the Rahkshi. And I proceeded making it a point to spend my allowance on buying at least two of every generation following that until Glatorians. I was WAYYYYY in the rabbit hole and loved every second. Since I grew out of playing with them, I sold most of the Bionicles I had, though I regret doing so, but I held on to three of them. To this day, I still have the Hordika models of Vakama, Nokama and Matau sitting on my shelf. Bet you could sell them to a collector for quite a bit by now, but I don't think I will ever part with those three. The nostalgia and memories hit a bit too close to home to give them away. Maybe that's childish, but it's true.

God I salute Hero Factory, my love for this was as deep as it was for Bionicle(both Generations). Lego did these series so dirty. But as long as we build Toa and Heroes, honor the memories we had for both series, these will live forever. Godspeed to two of LEGOs greatest sublines... It's just not the same without them here. *_Salutes_*
