I am a hardcore Ganguly fan, but I am writing this as a common man, Everyone in life goes through tough phase in their carrer wether it be cricket or any other sport. Some of Ganguly decisions might be harsh such as leaving Laxman/Kumble in ODI team and asking Dravid to keep wickets, personally I feel those two were good moves and as far as I Know he suggested BCCI to have quick fielders who can run fast,Moreover he picked some excellent talent in the name of Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Zaheerkhan, Kaif. He is the one who showed that Irfan pathan has batting ability and he is the one who promoted Dhoni top of the order and shown world Dhoni's batting ability, He literally gave up his opening slot to sehwag who batted in middle order during intial stages of his career,I am not anti to Kohli or Dhoni but wanted to say Ganguly led the team to 2003 final with limited resources he had having Sachin,Sehwag,Dravid,Himself,Kumble,Srinath as seniors and Badani,Mongia,Zaheer,Yuvraj,Kaif, Harbhajan as new commers. But both Dhoni and Kohli had settled teams when they were into world cup.He transformed team to play fearless cricket after match fixing scandal and Sachin quitting captaincy. He is always legend. I love you Dada.Personally he is my inspiration and he perfectly shows that whenever you were down, prepare yourself to roar back like a lion.
