    you said it would do "any length" but is that true? isn't there a maximum length even for the sled? i have some 8' boards i'm really struggling to get straight

    I can tell you from all the years in the trades industry I found this knife to be one of the better design knives on the market Quick release for blade works very smooth and the design with grip and change buttons are In excellent spot so as to NOT accidentally push while cutting. Only thing you cannot store many blades in handle. Other than that very good , we'll designed knife.

    You all are soft.. it’s not that bad unless you’re a weaker person (elderly).. the only problem is figuring out where the blades are but everything else is fine

      Thank you, it's what I been saying...it's actually one of the better ones on the market for the money. Buttons are in right places so you don't hit em while your cutting and blade release works very smooth compared to most on the market today

    Using a nylon bristle disc sander on a drill keeps the live edge look . Their like a inch wide , 2 inch inner plastic diameter with a row of stiff yet flexible bristles across it every inch. So far it's one of the fastest ways I've found that keeps the real live edge look.

    This was great. I especially appreciate the fact that he didn't bury the mistake - I can name few of my own simple projects that went without a similar mistake. I'm commenting though because I'm curious what real advantages a true jointer has over a jig like this. My dad had a jointer that I used often, but was always frustrated by the snipe and repeated passes required. it was also really loud. Not looking to anger any jointer fanatics, just curious.

    Great video! I bought your file on Etsy and didn't even use the discount code - you're welcome! 🤣 Also, I bought the Jenny bit too. Thanks for your recommendation! QUESTION - is the key to keeping the parts from popping out and burning or jamming to NOT use a vacuum? When I ran this with my vacuum on, it would suck the cut out pieces partly out of the wood then those pieces would get caught around the bit and start smoking. I had to stop my machine several times. Eventually I removed my dust boot and turned the vacuum off and that seemed safer. I really don't want to add tabs to each piece so just wondering how you get it to not jam up and start a fire?

      hmmm. I'm not sure! I ended up overusing painting tape/CA glue so that they would stay in place - but that was a lot of materials burned.

    Why don't you use a stop block for repetitive cuts on the chop saw instead of measuring each piece?

      It looks pretty close to 3 cord. 8x8x4 would be 2 cord. It's about 6 foot tall. Pretty close

    • @boogaloobaloo

      One cord is 128 cu ft. That structure is approx 8ft x 8ft x 6ft. That's 384 cu ft of storage which is precisely 3 cords.

    This doesn’t make sense to me. So you are putting it against a straight board you cut. So why would you just put on the fence which is also straight???

    • @NathanaelHepner
      @NathanaelHepner 5 месяцев назад

      Because the straight fence you're using doesn't move when you clamp down the board. If you run a curved piece against your table saw fence it will just follow the curves of the board.

    Thanks for sharing this. Any reason why you went through the trouble of aligning the top and bottom sheets? I think you just needed to have the bottom sheet against the fence and the top sheet could really be anywhere and didn’t have to be flush with the bottom sheet.

    Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.

    Would this sort of shed be suitable to dry wood also? I’m thinking of setting up a small business to sell wood as we have quite a lot but we don’t have anything yet that can be used to dry the wood we fell.

    • @SawdustandStuff
      @SawdustandStuff 9 месяцев назад

      the purpose for the gaps in the siding and also the top opening is to allow airflow. I don't see why this wouldn't dry the wood.
