This has been a cool video series for me as I'm a voice actor and see these 12 archetypes daily in auditions. It's interesting to think and reflect on these. I'm wanting to develop some core characters that I can then use as basis for my auditions, so I'm diving deeper into each character as I create them. Keep writing! :)

I'm not going to hit 30,000 words this year, which is disappointing, but I have written almost 18,000 words so far, which is about six thousand more than I did last year at this time. And there are still four days left, counting today, so maybe I can hit 20,000.

I have never evaluated texts by actual word count. I did the school system from France. They did not use this type of measurement.

Do you hate your parents?

One thing that you, and people like yourself, are failing to understand is that not all disabled people have the same disabilities. I don’t need a wheelchair to get around, but I certainly wouldn’t go online to scream about how we don’t need wheelchair accessible ramps in public simply because I don’t have that particular disability. I have a severe traumatic brain injury that has dramatically affected my cognition, and more specifically my ability to communicate and recognize when I have written something incorrectly, or drastically different than I intended to write it. Running my work through AI such as ChatGPT has given me some measure of my ability back. There are people just like me who have been very vocal about this, but you and others like you would like us to remain invisible. And it’s not even those of us with disabilities, but those of us who are well below the poverty line that cannot afford to pay an editor. It is also unreasonable to expect those who are poor to find a human that is available 24/7 to edit our work for free. The fight to remove AI as a reasonable accommodation for those with certain disabilities is unfair and unjust. Utilizing an AI to edit my work does not harm you or anyone else. Taking that away from people with disabilities creates an unnecessary burden for those who are already overburdened in many areas of life. People like yourself have actively sought to shame people with disabilities who benefit tremendously from this accommodation just so you can feel superior. But it’s you who should be ashamed. You should feel tremendous shame in shaming the disabled and then trying to excuse it with a “But some of my best friends” argument.

I am delighted to hear this news. I feel like supporting AI writing, especially without need to attribute that work was done by AI, is really defeating to those of us who work so hard on the craft. While I believe. Creating a novel (or other genre of writing) is very different from actually writing a novel (in my opinion). So....I'm thrilled with the idea of the Order. Unfortunately, not so happy that Discord is the primary platform. I don't do well with that and am not interested in being involved there. It's also too late this year for me to participate. I will follow this channel in hopes that next year other platforms will be available. I am all for celebrating human writers and the craft of writing. Thank you for taking this new path.
