Trick 'R' Treat is a must watch for me every Halloween. The way it's all tied together is one of the things that make it a great movie, I actually can't think of another movie that did it that way I'd give it a watch if there is.

I saw a gnome in my apt in Milwaukee in 2015. I was playing synth and I noticed something sitting on my couch staring at me. I looked at a little leathery wrinkly faced thing and as soon as our eyes met there was a blinding flash of white light and a loid noise. Then it was gone. I froze. After building up my courage i pulled off the couch cushions, flipped the couch, checked under my bed and in the closet. I couldn't find it anywhere. Gnomes are real.

My guess is he looked around and saw people dying horrifically and was like "I'm going out easy. Not like that." That's why he was shot instead of take the cyanide.

Personally I love the zoo. I take my good long time with every exhibit that I care for. Oh and I’m just tied by the visuals into my time maybe extend it further especially if I decide to sit down and start drawing. When I was in art school we were told it to really examine zoos for environmental design due to the fact that everything we see is man-made and is meant to engage both the watcher as well as the animals in the enclosure. On top of that it was just a great way to challenge yourself with actual field observations sketches. If you ever wanted to visit the Columbus zoo or the Toledo zoo let me know!!
