I've noticed its always male on female or male on male. My sister sexually abused me. Our cousin was doing it to us both, we also lived with an adult pedophile. and she started doing it to me on her own. I don't know how to feel about it

My sister made this comment, how would you react? I (31F) told my sister (37F) that I had received appreciation from my boss on a letter I had drafted at work and he appreciated my language skills. She reacted by saying that his own writing may not be that good that’s why he appreciated it. She said that I should share that writing with her so that she can make a more accurate assessment. She has been a jealous person her whole life. When I spoke to my mom about it, she as usual made an excuse for her saying her illness (which got cured long back) was making her behave in that manner. Like WTF is wrong with this jealous bit**!? How do you suggest I react because I get dumbfounded that a human being can stoop this low. Whenever she shares any achievement with me I only appreciate, why can’t she do the same? Why is my mother always defended her disgusting behaviour?

Abused til I was 26 by an 11 month older sister. Her only goal in life was to destroy me, she did nothing out of her life. I lived hell in this world/life. The entire family witnessed it all, and did nothing and denied all. The message was it was ok to abuse me, I don't count. Im extremely independent now, just because I don't trust anyone. Of course, did not build my own family and cannot form a romantic relationship. I ended up cutting with the entire family off. And moved to the other side of the planet.
