Thank you for this detailed and explanatory video. It's been seven years, but is it possible for you to upload other techniques as videos? Thanks.
Much appreciate
Extremely useful, thank you!!!
So helpful, thank you!
BTW, it's a shame you don't have more content on your channel, although I can understand how much time and energy it takes to try and get a channel going. Do you post similar tips on any other channels online?
Nice one, though I don't think I'll be spinning my Cooperman Bendir anytime soon... ;)
Another good bit of info. Enjoying your channel. Thanks again!
This is an excellent tip! I'm just learning the riq, (I'm lucky to have an 8 1/2" Cooperman with fish skin and also a Cooperman Hedjira,) but have been playing dumbec and other drums since the 70s. Thank You! Subscribed! :)

Hi friends, can you measure how many millimeters the height of the hole of the cymbals house
👍👌💖
Thanks. Great job.
When I was having a problem controlling the sound of the jingles, Glen Velez told me to think of it as a hi-hat and that helped a lot.
Thank you!
Complimenti... Bravo!!!
Direction not helpfull 🙏
Great video! Thank you sir!
How do I do this with the AirRaid Audio Elements Splitter 2? Do you know how to do this in reason 10?

This riq is made by Lev Elman in Jerusalem. facebook.com/ELMANPERCUSSION-66244264468/
Thanks so much. I have a question about the riqs without tuning pegs, are they tuneable? The problem is, I'm left handed and just got a right handed riq with pegs, which make it very difficult, actually impossible, to bring out my full potential in playing. How would the tuning work with riqs without the pegs?
Yes, there are several makers offering riqs with internal tuning mechanisms. The one I'm using in this video is made by Cooperman. In another video I demonstrate one by Lev Elman. These riqs use an internal tension hoop that places tension on the skin from underneath. Some other makers with internal tuning systems include: Titus Riqs, Kevork (very hard to get and expensive), Nakhle, Eli Huli, Emin. These makers all use recessed counterhoops that line up with the frame and internal mechanisms. There are many others makers. Good luck on your search!
Go to Salamuzik dot com. Quality at a good price. Istanbul. The ones mentioned above are too pricey imho. Not everyone is rich...lol
Riqs are neither right nor left handed. I'm ambidextrous and can play it either way.
Thanks Nate I would like to see the fingers though
Really nice and clearly demonstrated technique. Thanks Nate.
next time hold shift key when you create a device then it wont auto-route to the last device
wow, thanks so much for this!
P.s Reason Has Changed the back of the splitter, so following your video is Void... Check it out, so OTHERS don't get stress.. cheers
Thanks for your comment. This video reflects the connections used in Reason 9. The signal flow is still relevant regardless of the position of the connections.
