Well I won’t spoil anything but the short campaign is literal in the Gaul series. When I get to long campaigns it’s gonna be fun and probably be in the order you said. The britons with their chariots would be a challenge along with egypt. I guess mercenary hoplites will be valued. God bless you and yours

@@СашаШибко-в7т I’m familiar with that mod.. my potato cannot handle it while recording but probably around march or April with a slight possibility of it being sooner I’ll be getting my main computer fixed but until then I’ll have to keep with the vanilla. With RIS I’ll probably do a few play throughs with a few factions, I think playing as Rome would be fun. I do know there are loads of other mods I’ll be doing along with regular vanilla releases.

@@uncivilizedhawke6403 Perhaps by this time a new patch will be released that will reduce the number of cities on the map from 1800 to 1300. This will help you with streaming. If you play other Total War games and play as Rome there, then you might be bored.

I agree but only for a barbarian faction. I do believe the other pikes are more armored. Maybe even levy pikes but that I’m not too sure about

@@TheAdmirableAdmiral I do agree that it’s odd that the Germans have phalanxes. It does make turtling an easy defensive choice in the early game. It has helped me out but it’s not very offensive and is detrimental in a short campaign to turtle

Yeah with the numidians there is no defensive since most of the early infantry is missile infantry which is why I sallied out. Plus I needed trade money that the sieges were choking up…. The Britannia campaign is done and I’m working on the next campaign so I’ll take your advice in that campaign. God bless you and yours!

Yeah the mechanics of Rome 2 isn’t as great as Rome 1. Although DEI is amazing and makes Rome 2 a way better game.

Yeah with the AI hating on the player character in VH/VH , and a poor roster for the numidians, I’m gonna have to pull all the tactical acumen that I own. Being over dramatic aside, I do believe I can get out of the rut and thrive and beat that short campaign

I agree completely. Since I’m doing short campaigns I didn’t rush those two settlements and just settled with Segestica and stopped moving in that direction completely, otherwise if I was doing a long campaign I would just ferried over a small army and took Salona first then Segestica.

Yep I’m garbage at chariots and not really that good with cav. I’m working on it and I will use this knowledge in the future. It won’t reflect for another 10 episodes sadly.
