Perfect for lab coats since it changes color when exposed to acids/bases, both of which can be pretty dangerous

I realize this video is 3 yrs old, not sure if I get an answer? Doesn't matter, just curious. I noticed you crochet yarn under, yarn over. I use this technique when doing amigurmi. I've tried it for other things, but, not for the knit look. Do you crochet yarn under for all things, or just the knit stitch? Just curious. Thank you

4:13 "Bamboo" is not a natural fiber, it's rayon. Rayon is made of cellulose, which is a natural material, but it's an engineered fiber not a plant fiber. The two common types of rayon are lyocell and viscose. Both can be made from bamboo. Lyocell is more environmentally friendly but more expensive to produce. Viscose is cheaper but produces a lot of toxic waste products. Because lyocell is more desirable, lyocell products are usually labeled "lyocell" or "Tencel" (a trade name), while viscose products are usually labeled "bamboo" or "rayon". In other words, that 40% Tencel 60% bamboo yarn is 100% rayon, 0% natural fiber, of which 40% is lyocell and 60% is viscose.

These hanks are ALL gorgeous - it is difficult to choose, but if I have to - I will choose the same one as what you did. You can make lovely shawls, cowls and hats. Actually, you can make anything you have enough yarn for. 🤩 My husband and I pray daily for you people there in Israel. It must be very hard. Hugs 🤗

The only garment I could imagine, also because of the amount of yarn is the Penguone by Stephen West, but that is knit.... So ... I will like to thank you! I am knitting now on my second Mystery KAL from Stephen West. Now I am knitting two color brioche. I have lost any fear from what ever it comes stiches, because of you. You introduced me to the SisHomemade Shawls and they are really complicated - as I managed to do some... What could happen with me and any other pattern :) Thank you!

I knit a cartridge rib scarf from this yarn in a rose color a couple of years ago. It looks great, but the 'sticky' quality did make it more difficult to work with, especially when I had to frog it to fix a mistake. It really is surprisingly soft.
