Footage from our 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip in Emigrant Wilderness. Just north of Yosemite National Park it has all of the beauty of it's more famous sibling; pristine alpine lakes, grand granite rock formations, magical tree lines and lush wildflower meadows. However, unlike Yosemite wilderness permits are not only FREE but they're extremely easy to come by! This is a must for any backpacker in California.
