Thanks for the reply. Have since corrected the problem for the CG flies a little better thanks for noticing in the grass just like brakes so good and I’m practicing my landings, trying to flare. Thanks again staying the pattern.

Holy smoke, grass seems thick and rather high, acting like a brake however you rotated pretty quick and that with no head wind. Also the bird is very agile in the sky - short turns. You remember where your CG was at, or do you remember if she needed any down elevator compensation when flying inverted?

Multi, sorry man I’ve bean into the rc boat hobby for many years, electric is here to stay my friend, actually has bean since the mid 90s. Now I will agree you can’t beat the sound and smell of a wicked outrigger like the one in this video, owned and operated by a pro. Gotta face it man electric is here to stay. Did you know that at one point in the US, early 1900s, electric cars outnumbered gas cars. Invent a battery that will last just 1/3 longer than what’s in a modern e car and the world will change forever. It’s coming. 👍

Guess you didn't notice your dual outdrive linkage broke and you outdrives are no longer linked.

Sounds great but it's SO slow. Also have fun fetching it when it dies. Have fun replacing the motor when it flips/crashes and gets water inside. Have fun tuning those awful fickle motors. Have fun yanking that pull start until your arm falls off or the pull start breaks.

I know this is a four years old but are those out drives any good?

Do they have those automatic starts for all boats or just the gas ones? Please comment back and let me know that is sharp. I have a 56 inch Apache with a Quick Draw in it. And I have a 43 inch challenger with J and G motors in them. Please comment back thank you for this video

I have the same plane the 60 size version. I wound up putting carbon toe around all the important inside formers because they were just breaking loose. It’s very tough to put the wing bolts on especially in the front. I fly with an 18 MZ and I have conditions Select set for my trims when I actuate my flaps. Spektrum has flight modes, the same thing. In other words, you have separate trims for the flaps. This makes it easy to dial-in all flap positions. I I have a separate tail wheel steering servo independent of the rudder. That way I can dial-in separate expo on the wheel. I also use a throttle up on takeoff through flight, then idle down for approach to landing. I had really bad luck, with the first brand new engine installed on the gunfighter. It was a GP- 61. I could not get a stable, idle or high speed needle they kept changing. I finally got a good deal on a.DA- 60 and installed that engine. It’s a perfect match for the gunfighter. I didn’t like the engine box that is supplied in the kit so I made my own out of real quarter inch plywood with a half inch engine firewall. A half inch triangle hardwood stock inside and outside of fuselage sub firewall. Next time out our weight that all up weight. But I’m guessing 33/34 pounds. The gunfighter flies like the dickens on a 22/12 XOAR prop. I one last thing is that all my Warbirds have the aura, Gyro stabilization units in them. Two of the Warbirds run, the aura pro. My other two Warbirds just run the aura eight open stock. Note the auras won’t work using a smart fly power, distribution net work, however, they do work on the power box system. That things sick man! Overly powered! I love it! Have 3 1/4 scale boats, one of which I just picked up a Arrow-Shark Dragon Outboard for with a 32cc powerhead. Should be great, the original engine was a bone stock 23cc Zenoah conversion to water cooling, and that was a fast boat. But you Sir are on a different level of power and traction with your setups, very sweet and happy boating man. 😊

May be years sense this video has been made, but the boat looks great. The apache boat looks great on the water. & the scale out drives are a perfect match to set the scale looks of this boat.

It's crazy how much money goes into these boats for how slow they are I'll stick to my recoil 2 with dasbota prop on 4S getting 61 all day long.

How often do you have to rebuild the drives or replace gears? I just finished a scale MHZ Mystic 240 build of the black Budweiser Select boat and love everything scale. There isn’t a lot of feedback about these drives online, I’d love to get your opinion in more detail of them. Would love to build an inline setup with gearbox and twin drives to scale of the black and yellow SV53 Outerlimits of Doc Janssen.

Very nice plane. Congratulation for the successful flight (: why do you not use more flaps? Looks way to fast. My warbirds in this size use to react very nice to a lot of flaps (45° plus, for Me 109 and also Corsair) I always check the best position for me during flight, use a continous switch on the remote and a guy who helps you and puts the flaps out gently step by step until you have the feeling that the plane has a stable slow position with some good engine thrust to Keep the speed and puts the nose down quite a lot. When you found the position you can later ad a mixer with elevator if you like so the nose down effect is lowered automatically. If you find a good flap position, you can mainly control height with engine thrust
