Great Elvis box set collection

Hi mark another great review I have all those boxsets i agree the stax one is quite hard to find i just got lucky i also have the back in Nashville and Elvis in Nashville boxsets do you have them too take care

Hello Mark, love this video can't get enough Elvis box sets. The three cd Searcher box set was released as a single cd also. As was the Stax boxset , but the Prince From Another Planet boxset didn't have a single cd release because the first two disk in the set were already released as single cds. Hope that has helped .

You said you loved the album art work on Elvis 70s albums, I have to disagree. I thought the 70s album covers were repetitive and lazy. Using live shots on every album made them all look the same to any non Elvis fan. If you werent an Elvis fan it made all his studio albums look like live albums. They should and could have shown more imagination in their designs.

A great collection. If you have a playstation 4 or 5 or an Xbox One S you have a Blu Ray & 4K player. They have good upscaling technology on these devices. Thank you for sharing.

The RCA/Camden label is how my Elvis Presley record collection started. My first Elvis album was the RCA/Camden release Elvis Separate Ways my mom bought it for me back in 1972 ( i was 9 years old )and i have been buying Elvis music ever since. Great video bought back alot of wonderful memories.

Elvis Sings Flaming Star was a full-price RCA album originally. The first ones were only sold in Singer Sewing Machine shops in America. They have Singer Presents on the cover. Also it was first album to contain a live track (Tiger Man).

Most older collectors started with Camdens, they were very important to us. I have replaced my originals, but I keep them, with cellotaped edges and very well played, as they hold memories of my mum taking me to Woolworths to buy them. There are some rarer ones made to export to Europe, like the Christmas album with a red cover.

The Flaming Star reissue and Please Don't Stop Loving Me both feature Paradise Hawaiian Style publicity photos.

Hello Mark A great upload As an Elvis fan, I love the movies simply because Elvis is in them, but a few are actually classic movies. Parker saw that Elvis was restricted as an actor for the sake of dollars! My top five Would be 5 Blue Hawaii 4 Loving you 3 G I Blues 2 Jailhouse Rock 1 King Creole All the best my friend (hope I can call you that!) And in the words of the king ‘Thank you, thank you very much! It also is important to note that he starred alongside many film greats; Walter Matthau, Barbara Stanwyck, Vincent Price, Ann Magret , to name a few

I collected the hole set of these but a few had the same dvds utubein some magazines i didn't notice when i bought them as i just collected and put them straight in a box and started reading and watching them 2 years after but there still cool

In the USA the original On Stage did show February, 1970. Probably why the Friday Music and Music On Vinyl went with original cover
