Solo of Lee Ritenour - Fourplay-live
Montrey
Extremo bom gosto nas frases e a técnica apuradíssima! O mundo precisa de mais disso. Música de qualidade acalenta a alma! 😀
Haven't seen this in ages....one of Lee's best for sure. I had the great privelege of being able to see Lee when he played weekly at the Baked Potato in Studio City, CA. I didn't miss too many of those nights. Harvey Mason and Dave Grusin played with him there on my first visit to see him. Also playing Ernie Watts on sax and Anthony Jackson on Bass. Great times.
Definitivo mi banda favorita del smooth jazz , fourplay, ojalá vengan a México
Love this 😊❤
So beautiful and relaxing 😊❤
A technical giant with the soul of an old black blues player from the south. He touches that guitar like a lover under the moon light and we all are blessed.

Nathan...gawd!!!
Oh and of course...Bob you are the man and generations love you👍🏿
FourPlay....is.......😳 Especially when Lee is playing....he is😳...fook it I'm drunk and going to sleep...as always I will continue to revisit 😂😂😂.
Lee must be if not THE best guitarist out there, among the top three, if you ever can rate guitarists. I personally rank Gary Moore as the best in the rockblues genre.
Lee's a legend
. . . Fourplay . . . . tidak pernah membosankan . . .
Name song ?
This is mesmerising - the build up into main beat touches my soul
Excellent ,that soe ial sound they have...all jazz masters
Lol he thinks he is cool
Chuck Loeb was a Good Guitarist But Im Sorry he had Nothing on Captain Fingers, Lee Ritenour. Their was a Huge Gap in the Band Musically when he Left Four Play.
Close you're eyes and listen,,
Wonderful performance. Imagine being lucky enough to be at one of those tables!
the audience is also "state of the art"!

Lee Boring-hour.
disfrute total.
i not live in the same era as Wes Montgomery. But, I live in the same era as Lee now.
Fourplay are: Bob James - keyboards Nathan East - bass Lee Ritenour - guitars Harvey Mason - drums
. . . now . . . Larry Carlton
I remember when Rit was rated #4 in US session guitarists...behind Carlton, Dennis Brudmere and #1....Tommy Todesco. Always enjoyed LR’s playing - fluid, passionate yet tastful.
You surely mean Dennis Budimir...he is still going strong. And he has a facebook page facebook.com/Dennis-Budimir-148709770681/
@@charleshoernemann8661 Sorry about the spelling; I do not use FB but very thoughtful of you, neighbor. Thanks
That Carlton/Ritenour sound was all over back then in the late 70’s/early 80’s.
Monterey!
Wow wow wow! Anyone knows what guitar he plays here?
It's the Roger Sadowsky Electric - Acoustic.
On the intro, Lee was channeling his fast-pick-octave-scales which he made famous in Strawberry Letter No. 23 guitar solo on the Bros Johnson famous Jackie Brown soundtrack from the 70's, a hot disco-funk-R/B-fusion track that everyone loves without knowing what its title is or means or who Shuggie Otis is or was in the day. Anyone know what I am alluding to?
Luscious. Gorgeous. Lee Ritenour. 😎
Fine!
Remember when Nathan has hair?
Beautiful Sadowsky nylon strung guitar
the same Sadovsky who made a bass for Tal Wilkenfeld ?
Fabulous!!!
Nice! Intro is a bit like Chieli Minucci's Speak to me... vice versa? :-)

You guys are amazing ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How many of you really know your music? If you think you do, please identify what Lee was channeling (famous tune he played on) in his opening solo with the rapid up/down scales, explosion of notes? Does the Brothers Johnson ring a bell??? $100 to the first lady who comes up with the correct answer.....
What a wonderful improvisation and what skill,he is among the most famous guitarist played jazz rock

He played the Roger Sadowsky Electric-Acoustic guitar.
