I hate those patent leather (Corfam) bedroom slippers that sometimes pass for issued footwear. They crack after being worn only a few times. They sweat your feet terribly in summer and freeze your feet in winter. 45 years ago leather shoes were issued and, after a couple of months of tedious polishing, they always looked good and lasted a long time.
@@teresamaii I was an enlisted, and now I am SMP cadet. The amount of training I receive in the ROTC program is nothing compared to my enlisted career. Cadets are not officers until the day the get commisioned.
@@teresamaii Maybe they should say "Good morning, senior cadet." I don't know, some army traditions are just not for me to understand. On the other words, the title is earned, not given. Just like the drill sergeant tell the enlisted that they are not a soldier until they finish basic training. All enlisted are called trainee during basic training.
@@whosyourdaddy5719 The video is demonstrating how cadets should address actual officers, NCOs, and cadre members who actually train them, not how to address other cadets. They just used themselves as a prop to fill a role for this video.
Very nice production
Cadets are so silly.
I am a little late but thanks for an explanation.
Don't ignore the Officer! Hahahahaha
Our official uniform is better we have and sword

It doesn't make sense to me. They are all cadets, not legit officers. Not even a real soldier to me to be honest.
zheng shi how do you think you become a “real” officer? Over night? You literally have to do ROTC or OCS to become an officer
