@@flylisted I love Log homes, they have always been my favorite, next to big old farmhouses. Log homes give you that natural feel but can still taylor to your needs. I have had different ideas of what I would do if I had the $ to build a Log home of my dreams. Pomfret Vt. is another beautiful area. Miles of beautiful landscape, and my family had a farm there.

@@martinneps9387 According to Zillow it's still for sale, been on the market 140+ days so certainly didn't close two months and two days ago. Only asking $2.8 million. Maybe if the house burned down that might sell for under half a million. Maybe.

@flylisted The changes should have been made before the plans got off the drawing board (computer screen). Let someone who's mesmerized by tract home fads step up to the plate and make the down payment. I'm perfectly happy with the 2 houses I have and what remodeling by an actual architect can do.

We would love to hear a good story!

@flylisted if I had not experienced any of this myself I wouldn't believe it. Thinks moved on their own. I saw my mini Christmas tree sway back and forth, the sleeve of my bathrobe wave to me, the clothes in my closet move, my DVD and TV turned on by themselves, my cabinets doors would open and close by themselves. Now I have a cat and she never reacted to anything so I felt that whatever it was wasn't evil. But after 11 years it started to really freak me out. Near the end of me living there tho it got weird. One night as I lay in bed I noticed my tv, which was turned off, had faint white lines scrolling on it. Then suddenly a bunch of small short squiggly green lines appeared! I jumped out of bed and yelled "oh come on!". I unplugged the TV and completely covered it. Shortly afterward the building was sold and I had to move. Luckily I found a place I could afford. I've been paranormal free since moving. Yes this all sounds unbelievable but I assure you it all happened.
