@@chriskrolik2768 yes! My son is almost 13 and he was right there with us. He was REALLY inspired by them as he’s a guitar player. I love introducing him to different sounds which can shape his musical journey. Not to mention they were genuinely kind human beings.

@@baconenjoyer thanks! I really wrestled with wanting to record this. I was so close and I didnt want to be disrespectful to them, but I feel like this was an opportunity to catch a rising star or a band in its early days. Glad I recorded what I did!

@@richardmurillo2413 hands-down the best band out there right now making real music. I’m 51 and my wife and my 12-year-old son all share the love for this band. I think because the music is so good and speaks for itself that it’s just generational. I played it for my parents who are in their 70s and they also liked it. I have been turning everybody I can onto this band. We saw them at the reckless records in the store and we’ve purchased tickets to several different states to go see them next month. I am manifesting great things for this band.

I REALLY wanted to record entire songs for all of them, but I was literally a foot and a half away from Wes and I didn’t want to be ignorant and watch through a screen while they performed, BUT- how often do you get a chance to capture greatness in its infancy from a foot away? I had to record SOME of it. Really glad I did! That was an amazing day for sure!

@@lfh1973 I totally get it! I recorded most of Palm of Your Hand and maybe a minute of Too Easy, but if just feels like (especially with tiny shows like this) I want to be present and I ALSO want everyone who wasn’t able to actually be present to experience it as well. I did see a different band the other day and was planning on recording more of it, but just ended up moshing most of the time haha. It’s always a balance.

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, we were also disappointed that they only played for about 70 minutes. There were so many great signs that we really wish we could have heard as we don’t know the next time, Blackie will bring the tour back to the states.

@@lfh1973 I'm not sure they will after this tour. A lot of fans are pretty dissapointed blackies promises about what the tour was supposed to be fell very short and then the lip synching issue together will make promoters and fans think twice next time. Definitely cant wait to see armored saint again though! Keep up the great videos!

That would be Viv and Sav with the high screamy sound. Phils vocals are more raspy very obvious on Foolin and Bringin On the Heartbreak.

Oh yeah! that’s Phil alright. His backing vocals kick arse. As do the rest of the guys on other songs. 😎

@@gracielou_flattbush22 oh that’s horrible! I know ticket prices have gone through the roof. I’m in the uk from a little town called Huddersfield about 20 miles away from Sheffield so I always catch them when they play uk. I dread to think how much tickets will be when they bring stadium tour to uk 🙈🤣

@@adamwood7597 Haha! Well hopefully this inflation nonsense will ease by next year because I heard they will be touring Europe next summer! 😁 I’m in California and everything here is so expensive! Lol I’m sure I’ll have a chance to see them one day!

It really was an awesome concert! While I love all three bands, plus Joan Jett, I think Def Leppard really stole the shell. Motley sounded very muddy in my opinion. Maybe better sound for them would have helped them out because I think they played well. Motley just had such a muddy sound and all I could hear was Nikki‘s bass. Def Leppard on the other hand, I feel like they are the elder statesman of rock at this point. They are firing on all cylinders and they are so pro.

@@lfh1973 yeah def sounds just like the their albums they always steal the crowd been a fan of them since 83 what's different about the drummer is that he has 3 and 4 Bass drum fills I watched a lot of other bands no drummer has his fills
