DIY Water Bottle Holder for Your Next Hike
In this video, I'll show you how to make a simple and stylish water bottle holder that's perfect for your next hike. This project is easy enough for beginners, and it can be customized to fit your needs.
An interesting adaptation was when an older woman came up to me asking what could hold her large portable oxygen tank. I designed this to be 2" taller for her, but otherwise the final product was the same. So, it's perfect for a day hike, a night-in at home, or on the move when you need a little bit of O2.
Inspiration came from @SewBestie and @LindsHandmadeDesigns

How to sew a seatbelt sleeping pillow
Просмотров 13 тыс.3 года назад
This is a terrific little project where you create a pillow which velcro's around a seatbelt. It lets a youngster (or oldster for that matter) in the back of the car have a pillow to sleep on and reduces the inevitable odd & painful angle of their head. We'll use flannel to make it soft & cuddly. I'm using hook & loop tape, just a bit of Pellon Shape Flex and filling for the pillow. Very simple...

Rowenta Perfect Steam DG 8520 Iron Review
Can these be used reversible? So I can use 2 different fabrics? Want to use fleece but would be hot in summer…..
Fantastic tutorial! I learned quite a few new tips. Especially liked how you reinforced the seams . Good job!! Thanks! 👍🏼😃🧵🪡
Love your tutorial, do as you do, we appreciate the time you put into this video
Very nice! I would not recommend that people use cardboard, however, because phones and tablets get REALLY dirty and full of germs so should be washed periodically. One could cut some plastic strips from a container lid, for example, glue them together with super glue and insert them instead of cardboard or buying the interfacing. I am going to make a wider version for my IPAD. Great idea and thanks!
Frixion pens can be found at Walmart also
Love it thank's 11/10 2024
What a great idea to put hand sanitizer and a tissue packet together !
Hello! Any secrets to sewing on the hook side of the Velcro without breaking sewing machine thread? It happens to me more often than not. Thank you! 😊 I love your pattern. Very thorough!
Very nice video and clear directions. Thank you Trish for sharing!
Great idea, and directions. Thank you!!
I paid about $350. For my earlier than this one you are showing . I HATE that is only 8 minute auto shut off . Is there any way to override this feature ? Does anyone know if ROWENTA has an answer for this ?
Great idea! Wondering if a tablet would work with this.
I would like to know, too.
Trivia: each blade is one scissor. We need two blades to cut, thus, scissors.
Tack across the top and bottom of your pleated outer and lining pieces. Then, trim the lining on the sides. This way, the bottom should still match the back “original” pattern piece and should be able to easily line everything up.
Thank you. I found this easy to follow and made 5 at the same time! One for the house, one for the RV and 3 for friends!
I cannot open the side button for the collector of calcium 😢
Thanks for the origami corner tip! 🥰
very helpful tips, thanks!
+!
I like that just needs a few more card slots thanks for sharing ❤
Trish, I thank you a million for this tutorial. I love it and have made over 20 so far. My grand and great grand children love them. This is the BEST tutorial out there. I appreciate your help and taking time to share with us. Blessings to you!
Nice clock hanging on the wall behind you!!
Haha ... Never really noticed the "go ahead" but now I can't not hear it. Still love the video.
You know...you all are right...I use helping phrases (don't really notice it myself--but they're there for sure), but apparently I use phrases and it bugs folks. I too notice when folks use helping words such as "like" and "you know"...I need to work on that and appreciate the feedback. Let me tell you, always a work in progress. I do however really hope given the irritant of the phrases aside, the video and the information is helpful for everybody. Appreciate your feedback and constructive comments--really do. Take care and stay creative.
Definitely the 'inside' ID aspect is safer. Love the fabric, as well. No topstitching is neater. Using the stabilizer to your advantage. Thank you.
Great video! Thank you! Beautiful work!
How does the tissue pack go in?
So nice love from Pakistan ❤🇵🇰
Excellent tutorial and design, thank you for sharing. I look forward to seeing more, new subscriber.
❤❤❤ ready to make one for me first :)
Thankyou for 3 fabulous videos. I've learnt so much. I'm making mine out of waterproof canvas for pockets and fashion facing fabric. Back/lining/binding made from inexpensive cotton that I'm able to fuse to. I have co-ordinating webbing too 😊
❤❤❤
A+‼️You are a good teacher!
Do you clip those corners after you sew them to reduce bulk
Soooo easy!
WOW!!! Love this Thank you so much
Very nice I like how you make these ❤😊 I'll make my Grandchildren these be nice while their gaming .
You are a great teacher. Not only have I learned many things, but my organizer turned out very nice. I appreciate you.
Great video
Thank you for the video. I would love to have seen the machine sew a little more, but I got the jist. Thank again!
Great instructional video. Suggestion - please allow a few seconds after you display your pattern so we can get a picture of the markings when your hands aren’t in the way. I had to rewind the video several times to catch the patterns.
great point...just great. I'm trying to get the info across, but not spending too much time where folks lose interest. thanks so much--great point.
Third comment … you are still the greatest! This year again made more IPhone stands. Stabilized everything… used seam ripper to guide sewing in pillow… thanks again!!
Love love you showing each item and WHY we need these items.
Great video!! But please, stop with the 'go ahead and .....' So many Americans use that filler phrase which is totally redundant. IMO, it gets annoying when used every other sentence.
It's likely habit but adds many extra filler words.
How rude!
I agree with your comment 100%. The only place I hear the phrase "go ahead" is in sewing tutorials and I am an American. It is not needed and I find it grating.
Right!! It wasn't mean to be mean (some else didn't like my comment), otherwise this is an awesome video. It's just an observation, which I also have noticed in many sewing tutorials. Bad habit such as over-use of 'like' or 'basically'. Just some constructive feedback, as apparently I'm not the only one with this pet peeve!
Definitely not the only one with this pet peeve
Hello! Were you at the CMHS craft fair on 12/2/23? I’m looking for more Christmas tree napkins. 😊
Great video ❤ but wont let me subscribe to ur page. 😢
Is there anybody have a problem with this iron? Mine has leaking on the bottom of the base and I couldn’t find any solution?! I don’t normally ironing so it is like new but doesn’t work properly:(
Thank you so much for your fabulous video. This has helped me, even though I have a different model. Just purchased the DG9249G0. You have really put a lot of time and thought in your video and it is very much appreciated.
Love the tutorial, but agree on using invisible stitch for a nicer finish.
Excellent review!!! Thank you.
EXCELLENT video! Thank you for such clear instructions and reminders along the way!
