It depends on requirement. I have purchased Honda VX CVT 2024. I’m happy. What kind of mileage are you looking for? If you looking for a mileage up to 20 don’t buy Honda. City mileage 9-12 and long mileage 10 - 16. I wanted a little powerful engine, decent mileage , good ground clearance, big boot space and lastly long lasting engine and reliability. No electrical problems and interiors should last long and good CVT. Honda gives world class CVT. Honda elevate is also exported to Japan. Please expect Avg service cost to be 5K to 10K.

I bought a new taigun which belongs to same skoda vag group. We wanted to upgrade from our 15yo honda city and from our experience, the reliability was unmatched. However, when we test drove honda elevate, it felt like same engine that we have been driving for 15 years with no technology upgrade. The interior looks visually good in elevate but the quality is pathetic. The hand brake was flimsy, there was so much road noise within the cabin and the automatic just didnt feel punchy in elevate. Where as in skoda/vw the engine is torqy, the gearbox is pure automatic with tc and the overall feel of the car is much better when compared. The 1.0 engine is globally awarded and is reliable too. Overall, theres no going back to honda or kia or hyundai once you hit the peddle in skoda/vw.

I am going to buy but got confused in elevate V CVT R and Skoda Kushaq Onyx AT1.0 turbo. I am getting both cars near about 15.50 + 3 yr service package in kushaq only. So @inline ignition which should you prefer ? Mileage also concern Please comment
please go for the Kushaq as you’re getting a better automatic gearbox and the mileage would be slightly better in the kushaq only
škoda’s 1.0 litre turbo engine produces more torque than elevate’s 1.5 NA and kushaq’s mid range is also better because of the turbocharger
but if size and road presence is a concern for you then you can opt elevate

Kushak have strong engine compare to elevate Excellent driving dynamics Excellent breaking Next level build quality Luxury Brand value Excellent design good Milage compare to elivate After 1st service kushak milage with rough driving in city-9 to10 and highway with 90-120kmph speed getting 14-15kmpl.

Aren’t the mechanics/Supervisor supposed to check all these and certify that everything is ok?
They do. But at the end, it’s our money not their’s so we know who actually even cares about it. Better make sure we are getting the vehicle in the absolute mint condition than discovering the odd things and then running around service centres.

AT have 7 gears therefore shorter gear ratio which means faster acceleration, MT have 6 gears only, still you are driving MT while you are just a passenger in AT only thing you are doing is keeping the car in a straight line which a 12 y.o kid can also do.
