I disagree with his advice. You need focus on building a solid foundation first. Take those courses to build those hard skills to get a well paid job. No one going to hire you based on a mishmash of skills and you’re not going to run a business straight out of school. Employers will hire you based on what you know. Your bread and butter will be hard skills.

Yes advice is different for everyone, so I can only partially agree with this guy. I have deep seated beliefs that the best knowledge will come from real-life experience, but also have a love for learning and gaining knowledge. I can't help to wonder why everyone is taught the same things in university though... I have not been in it yet and am still deciding (on business or comp sci classes)

While I do think that cryptocurrencies are BS at the moment. Mark's logic doesn't even make sense. You cannot touch/feel stocks traded on NASSDAQ/Dow Jones index. The only things that you should be buying by Mark's logic is a home(since it's real estate). Gold is definitely something that you should invest in if you want a stable instrument in terms of your holding. I would prefer to invest in stocks rather than in gold though since the CAGR is higher in most instances.
