This summer, a friend invited me to join her van trip in Xinjiang. I've been to Xinjiang three times before, but as a digital nomad, there's no reason to say no to van life, especially when your friend is an experienced driver and has a cat in her van! Rapeseed flower (or rape flower) is actually the correct name, and canola is a type of rapeseed. You can find it on Wikipedia.

@@travelwithhelena44 Agree, re: the brainwashing by western media, I have traveled in China in '19 for many months and it was one of the most amazing & beautiful countries in the world. The people super friendly and they go out of their way to help the traveler. It is easy to navigate, with excellent transportation to anywhere. I miss China! Hoping to return this winter.
