GREAT JOB👍🏻👍🏻
Inspiring
Can any of you suggest where to find good lace-up work boots for women? I wear a size 8 WW. Very very wide feet. Finding women’s boots in the first place is difficult, but most brands don’t come in widths. I can buy men’s boots, but in my small size, men’s boots don’t come wide enough either. This runs in the family. My youngest son at 33 wears a size 5 WWW. We have to special order them, and can’t find boots for him either. Suggestions are appreciated.
Sick.
Yes mamm you are on your way stay with it🎉

Operator since 1995, I still play the "I built that " game. My other favorite game is "I can run that".
Does any notice that he’s wearing two left handed gloves 🤦🏻♂️😆
I'm in my first year of the apprenticeship and it's been nothing but good. The men and women won't let you fail. It's great.
Wish the union was good in florida
LOL I had a meeting with the big three at O'fallon Mo. There was me and Joey two toes, Mickly the knife, and to fat eddy. Give all your money to the Mob Dumbasses.
Felicidades IBEW hermana! Yo fui electricista en IBEW tambien! Ya estoy retired.

Best decision I ever made was apply. Local 112 1st year apprentice
Female ironworkers=Worthless.
512 women or men. Best of the best!
🤣🤣 I was in the IBEW. What a joke! 5 years in I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. I went on FMLA. I was fired, without any REQUESTED union representation. Once I was sick, you turned your back on me. 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻 the union.
I need a job electrical
Look for an IBEW JATC near you. Then apply online.
Would be nice if y’all accepted more people
Nah, cus then we’d get too many incompetent people.
When a hammer isn’t on the tool list you use side cutters! I like that style.
Was with the IBEW for 21 years. If you seriously believe that the Dems have your back, ask the Railroad Workers Union!!! You saps are being railroaded yourselves!!!!!! Biden will FORCE YOU as well! Donkeys

Why do all these videos talk so much about the trade being male dominated
Because it is. We are trying to show that there is space for women in the trades Even though it is male dominated, there are other women out here. It isn't as intimidating as some women might assume.
It is you Jack wagon.
Because it is
Have any programs for fresh out of high school 18 year olds I have worked as a electrician for two years at 16 and only one year with my TDLR license
You can apply for our apprenticeship when you're 18 year old. Our apprenticeship is located in St. Paul, Minnesota. If you don't live in MN look up your local IBEW and apply for their JATC program. We wish you the best of luck.
Is that legal permanent conduit hangers ? Never seen those ( I’m a resi guy )
You go, girl! ✋🏼👷🏼♂️Local 278 (Corpus Christi, TX) For people out there…..we need you! There’s such a shortage is unbelievable. 1 journeyman turns out……5 retire. It’s that bad…….
Don't forget about brotherhood they don't teach you that in school anymore. The IBEW sets the standard for wages not your contractor. The longer you stay at a contractor the more you hurt the union.
Shes gotta get some pouches, nobody likes a pocket electrician.
Bags are for pussies.
Why would one care about how another person chooses to work? Not trying to be snarky, honestly asking
We would like to join with you
Hi from Colombia 👍💪
Go girl, Sq-Wheel from Jacksonville.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I've applied for the electrical apprenticeship with my local union, and this is inspiring!
I am a loking a job EEE
Those wires on the line side are stripped back a little too far but other than that nice and neat work. Keep it up.
You go girl
24 years ibew LA. Made me proud to watch this
Any advice to on getting your foot in the door to the Ibew?
Meet their requirements and pass that entrance exam. From there you start your voyage
@@TheGageDane if no experience…..visit your local hall, talk to the student coordinator, and tell him/her you’re interested in the trade and would like to start working. Depending if your hall is busy or not…..right now is the busy time so get on it before things slow down in the winter time. Not going to lie to you…..you’ll have hardly any time extra because of school or work but that’s how it goes.
this is a super long comment and sorry in advance and thank you for your time in advance ....This video was very emotional only because things that you want to do your house and the career & family - my dad accomplished that with working 35 years for local 3 I.B.E.W (A journeyman) in New York City . He was very proud of this union and what it stands for. I never got to see how he worked and I knew he worked as an electrician bending pipe , scissor lifts working high voltage so strong you got to wear a insulated suit. He will often show me places that he worked at like if we were at home Depot he would say I put up that light or I did that fire system. I learned a few things here and there watching him as I was younger now I think I'm confident doing basic work camera system, doorbell, basic wiring three-way switches . Now that he passed I don't want to call just any electrician to do any big work like run a 240 line for my AC or in the future I get a electric car I need a wall charger. Wondering if IBEW has program for families to hire a local 3 or ibew electrician at discount help a fellow brothers family out. Electricians are too expensive that's what you guys make the big bucks. Of course some of you might comment oh when I asked one of his friends I guess he's an introvert like me he didn't have too many friends or any of his contacts and correct me if I'm wrong but the type of work he was always jumping around from one job to the next so it was more like coworkers. you work a job a month or two and that's done you go to the next jobsite you find another crew you kind of don't have time to have a long lastingbond ( my opinion of course)
👍
Saludos desde mexico
Wait until you get to one where you have to keep the flexible metal conduit uninstalled to put the wire... 💪😃
