I know that its not her song... Its Cindy Laupers song (As you said) that came out in like the late 70s, early 80s... What I meant was like she sang it well. I didn't mean for it to be a little disrespectful at all. Sorry for being "a little disrespectful" and you not knowing what I meant.

Jessie's voice does fit this song great, but it's a little disrespectful to call it "jessie's song". If Cindy hadn't sang it exactly the way she did in the original, it wouldn't be popular enough for anyone to want to sing it today.

I always thought Jessie had to sing this song. It's perfect for her!
