2024 Tacoma Peak Suspension Review

Review of the Peak Suspension Trail kit on my 2024 tacoma. I wouldn't buy the kit if you want your truck level. I just did the 2.25in in the front didn't touch the rear and still sits raked. Came with a 1inch spacer for the rear that I didn't even use. Not happy with the kit and my opinion don't buy if you want your truck level. Look for a kit that raises it 3inch or 3.5inch in the front.

2017 STI Getting on the Freeway Awesome EWG Noises
For the ewg did you need to do any supporting mods or tunes?
@adamb8851 yes many and tunes are required with any modification
Did you like your sti on the dom 3.5 setup or was rotating the better route after awhile?
@JTmovingweight99 the dom 3.5 is sick asf. I always kinda wished I went with the 4.0 or 5.0 just to see lol but then for sure would of had to build the motor.
@JTmovingweight99 you'll save alot of money just doing the dom setup instead of rotated. They spool fast to you'll be happy with a dom
@@BlueSTI you sell yours ?
Your range of motion is pathetic. Respect for being in the gym and strength training but this is some clown shit brother. 🤡
What's the name of this beach
That’s a wrx lol
Haha yep
Catless downpipe?! Will it pass a smog test?
Catless and no it won't pass
Average like 21 highway, 15 city. Average overall in my last trip was 15.3 but it’s partially my fault because I was doing pulls on the highway
that pull and this video is pathetic
nice ride
Great video, tell me.. How about the comfort when driving unlike the original springs? I have a 2019 STI and I am looking for a comfortable suspension for daily use, here in South America the streets are terribly ugly and I suffer too much with the rigid suspension that comes from the factory.
I would leave the stock suspension on. It makes it ride so ruff and kinda bouncy. If you do lower it don't go cheap like I did on these springs. I wish I left the stock springs on to be honest
@@BlueSTI thank you very much for your reply.
How many miles did you have it build before sold ? Any issues ?
What inlet are you running . I ask because I have a Blouch 2.5 with the fp 84mm inlet and it leaks in the smoke test because inlet it’s about 1/2 inch bigger . I don’t understand it’s 10cm
I have been in a lava tube in kona before. Idk if it was the exact same one, but for me it was a bit darker in there
Is that a good idea to jack up the block, while all the hoses and wires are still connected?
It moves the engine maybe 2in. I didn't have any problems doing it
What a clickbait title. On pump gas is way different than e85
I got almost same setup, +fmic and no cats, 367 on 92 tune. Love it
Thats awesome yeah alot of fun to drive
Hey, did the phenolic spacers help with the fitment of the 3” inlet?? Or was that still a pain to make fit?
Great video description. Do you still have the car?
Yeah it was an awesome car. I traded it in
Do u have any video of driving?
Check out my other videos I have one driving
engine is blown. pretty sure owner is rebuilding or sold it.
Haha never blew up. I traded it in though
How’s it running today?
It was running great but I traded it in got a new tacoma
Why would you put equal length headers on an EJ ? Ya gotta have that EJ rumble.
Look it up the benefits of having a equal there's tons. It's a flawed design and part of the reason and the cause 4# piston ring failure.
Makes the ej run better too
@@BlueSTI ive never heard that theory before. How does the un equal length headers cause cylinder 4 failure ?
@@k9-unit-australia275 check out the Subaru forums they've talked about it for years one of the many causes. That's why they say to get an equal length and a AOS air oil separator for the ej. I do love the rumble it sounds awesome
@@BlueSTI cheers bro im always up for new information. 👍👍👍
Meanwhile hop in a evo and drive it however and I’ll be reliable lol
Well the 2019 have better motors with better internals so from 2019 ig there pretty reliable
Yep for sure cause 2019 has the RA motor which is stronger
Can you tell me the details of youre build? I too also have an sti 2017
Check out my other videos that are newer. I wrote the full details of the build in the description on my newer video
Do you know anybody with a built Crawford motor, forged internals or anythn like that? I'm thinkin of getting a Crawford built motor for my 2004 sti,
Hey man. Love the car! On another video you said you have to update the fuel system, what do you have to do? Do you have stock fuel lines now?
You'll have to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors if you want power out of the car when it gets tuned. You can do the fuel lines and fuel rails but I never did. 450whp is plenty of power.
Do you live in cali ? If so how do I get a downpipe in my car without being hassled by California?
You just have to take it off when you need to smog. put stock one on to pass smog then take it off and put on your downpipe. It's a hassel
@@BlueSTI did you have to do that with your iag aos also? i wish i would have gotten the cobb unit, they have a carb number.
Y esa banda

Update on how the stock block is holding up?
It was doing great but I traded it in for a Tacoma
Pushing that kind of power on a stock block, I don't think the question is "IF?" but "WHEN?" Same motor can handle that kind of power for thousands of miles while another motor will blow sooner. I know this video is over 3 years old, would love to hear an update. Did it blow? Is it still going strong? If so, how many miles?
Never blew the motor but got bored with it and knowing a 13-15k motor build was needed soon wasn't something I wanted to do so I traded it in for a new Tacoma.
Updates on this car??
I traded it in for a new Tacoma
@@BlueSTI wow that is so sad! did it blow up? how many miles did you have it at this power level?
@@IcySTi no way man didn't blow. It had 62k on it. I had it at that power level for over 20k miles. Before that was at 400whp for 35k. I knew the inevitable and didn't want to have to build the motor sooner or later for 12k so decided to trade it in.
@@BlueSTI dang brotha, did you run it on E most of the time? was such a beautiful build
@@IcySTi yes mostly on E85 but even on 91 octane was a rocket at over 400whp. Thanks man ya I do miss the car but I didn't want to build the motor cause I knew that's what I had to do next to it. Was quoted 12k to have a built motor and at over 500whp. Was done spending money haha
15-18 sti probably shouldn’t go more than 350whp if youre trying to stay reliable. 19-20 sti no more than 450whp only because the newer models have the type-ra engine with upgraded internals compared to the 15-18
Yep I'm way over on the limit
They already busted that myth. Watch the videos from IAG, the pistons and rings are still cheap.
@@colorado_koolaid2625 the RA block is the most reliable version of the Ej257 ever made from factory, aside from the S209 block. my 2020 sti is making 452whp on e77 at around 22 psi fp green turbo. stock block and transmission, stock clutch. obviously the clutch is a different story, but power-wise the block can take a beating, and i daily my sti. ive seen some guys running 500whp+ on their stock ra blocks reliably, granted that they dont beat on it 5 times a day. you just need go have the right supporting mods, reliable and good tune, and dont drive it like you stole it. i like the ra block opposed to any older ej257 blocks due to their thicker piston rings and hypereutectic pistons.
I have RCE yellows on a 2018 STI and I have the same issue of the front being higher than rear lol
Is this an RA block?
No this is a 2017 so not this year
Where was the pull?
can you do some vids on how the intercooler sounds like?
The intercooler doesn't make noise

how is the grimmspeed tmic ? what you have to avoid heat soak? just got mine today and wanna prevent heat soak as much as i can

@@BlueSTI DONE BOSS THANK YOU @_DIEGOSTI

Can you do a pov drive with just car sounds? Can you hear your turbo spools?
I have a video of doing a drive by but with the EWG you don't hear the spool anymore lol cause it's so loud
Sometimes.... EVERY TIME.... Cold start isn’t cold.... until you see -25° on thermometer and you decide to give it second, (like a diesel, wish there were glow plugs)... pray that it starts than trying to crank it
Giving me ideas, lol. That sounds bad ass.
Ya its sick asf in person to hear it

Yeah it was. Got rid of it 6 months ago now

Lol I had to Google that. 495 feet

@@freemaysin5088 I got a new tacoma
@@BlueSTI oh nice i can't argue that! i got a tundra myself love it 250k miles and still chuggin overland build? =p
Updates on your build ?! Doing the same soon on a stock block
I know the videos is 2 years old but how’s it holding up brother
It was running great but traded it in 6 months ago now
@@BlueSTI good to know, what you traded for?
Would you rather have your car modded or a SS 1LE?
I wish I left it stock is the truth. Cost way to much to make these cars have power
@@BlueSTI No way? Not even a few mods? I'm still deciding to go a similar route, but hearing you say this makes me think again. I want to go stage 3+ with e85 ( Dom 1.5, Killer B elh, FMIC). I've already decided that coilovers, wheels, and KB short shifter with bushings and CBE are a must. The least in power mods I wanted to do was DP, intake, injectors, fuel pump, and AOS just to have a little more HP.
@@angeloramos355 look at my more recent videos of my sti I went crazy on modifications was making 450WHP
@@angeloramos355 turbo back exhaust is worth getting makes it sound alot better
