Good episode of realistic post war Europe tv series worth watching.

This a very good series of realistic episodes of immediate post-war Europe, including this one. Thanks for posting. Deserves a wide audience.

This story takes place in Vienna; Delores is an elephant at the circus. Mr. Storm investigates a death. The Vienna setting for several of the stories reminds me of The Third Man.

Fine plot twists. And snow was actually falling in one scene!

Many reasons I like these films. For one, many are filmed in the snow! For another, in this adventure a single woman reporter deals with a difficult case. This seems way ahead of its time. For a third, these stories all deal with real problems faced by Europeans after WWII. Fourth, when I lived in Poland in 2010, I saw many locales with a similar look and feel.

I saw this on the other Classic Channel, but it doesn't hurt to like it here, too!

Ed is good at escaping! From what I read he was a fighter pilot in germany in ww2 and was shot down and escaped a german prison camp and was recaptured and escaped a second time but was again recaptured before the camp was liberated. Idunno if it's TRUE but I read he is thought to be the inspiration for the movie "the great escape"

The thing I can say is that there is a series that takes place a millenium into the future called "Futurama".

Good old capitalism, brings out the best in people. NOT.

Marvin MIller played Michael Anthony on 'The Millionaire' series on TV for 200 episodes . He was the one who passed out the millionaire gifts to various worthies ! That where I saw him first ! He was a voice actor often and I think he rivaled Mel Blanc !
