And im guessing the UEFI Bios i have will work as it did on 2 other different surfaces pro’s they will need a so called clean and serial number sorting i guess. Some data sheet research on the BIOS chip shows that with the last digit (Q) This SPI memory is in Factory default "Quad mode. These sort of memory SPI chips have many Features that allow for ie memory shadowing etc. For faster read write etc. So I'm guessing :- Because you can see in windows ,board serial number and soft ware serial number it should correct it self. But may be not . I am not an expert. But it will be great to find out EEproms do ware out I have found. The exact chip is available from EBAY £7.00 Gota get WSON8 6x5 socket and a programmer for home. Is a CH341 ok? Any suggestions. Please.
