Not to 💩 on the idea but there was flagship android phones with keyboards at one point. I don’t think the market generally liked it. But cool idea nonetheless. Hoping it finds its audience because I’m sure there’s some who preferred it.

Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Company I purchased the Clicks keyboard for iPhone 16 Pro Max, expecting quality, but the product had major issues. It didn’t work with Apple CarPlay, struggled with 2FA codes in WhatsApp, wouldn’t cooperate with Bitwarden, and was incompatible with Firefox. For something so expensive, this is unacceptable. I’ve tried to get a refund, but their process is awful. The portal directed me to email their support team, but they’ve ignored me completely. When I checked the portal again, my return was marked as “rejected” with no explanation. From other reviews I’ve seen, this isn’t an isolated case. Many customers have had their refund requests ignored or denied without reason. It feels like they’re trying to avoid honoring valid claims. I’ve had to file a chargeback with my bank. If you’re thinking about buying from this company, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Warning: Avoid Clicks Technology - Poor Products and Worse Service I bought the Clicks keyboard for iPhone 16 Pro Max, expecting a premium product. Instead, I got a device riddled with faults: It doesn’t work with Apple CarPlay. It fails to input Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) codes in WhatsApp. It breaks password manager functionality with Bitwarden. It’s incompatible with Firefox, my primary browser. These are basic, widely used apps and services, and the keyboard fails with all of them. Within 24 hours, it was clear the product is not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality-a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Worse, trying to get a refund has been a nightmare. Their returns process sends you in circles, directing you to email them, only to ignore your messages entirely. Logging into their return portal, I discovered my request was rejected without reason or notification. Looking at other reviews, I’m not alone. 70% of reviewers on Trustpilot rate them 1-star, citing ignored emails, rejected refunds, and poor customer service. It seems they rely on these tactics to avoid honoring legitimate claims. I’ve already filed a chargeback with my bank and will report them to Trading Standards if this isn’t resolved. Clicks Technology is a company to avoid at all costs. They’ll take your money and leave you stuck with a faulty product and no support.

I had a similar detachable keyboard for HP Ipaq back in the day (around '08/'09) and some people felt it looked silly. So funny how the same concepts come back years later. I miss physical keyboards.

Why not make the keyboard collapsible? when you dont want to use the keyboard you just slide it back and it would make the lower back of the phone slightly thicker, but maybe could have a use like use the keyboard as a kickstand.
