If Israel adesanya did not become middleweight champ, then there is no call-out of Alex to stop his drunken life and pursue MMA. There is no quickest double champ without both of them. And you do know that Izzy was winning every fight that they had until the ko. One may be better than the other, and maybe they do have to fight ten more times, but it’s still a great rivalry. 👍

I would agree, except when you watch all those matches, Izzy was winning and got caught, and some would say robbed. All there fights were competitive, and the backstory makes it a great rivalry. I don't see a point in arguing for one fighter while hating on the other. Respect to both of them. Also, I wouldn't want to fight anyone 5 or more times, would you?

When did Izzy deny another rematch? He had the balls to fight Alex 4 times! And I'm pretty sure there's no point in another rematch when Alex was the one who decided to move up to LHW... If anything, another rematch would hold both fighters back from progression. Let them do their thing, and I wouldn't want Alex to go back to Middle weight, he should instead move up to Heavyweight, try and aim for the first ever 3-weight division champion.

I agree. and you could say the same for boxing. Boxing, judges have become to favour the favourites and undefeated boxers, and the refs and judges are clearly biased. it is unfortunate that the refs and judges are part of the sport. I love tkd, yet the rules have changed so much to where a simple push is illegal

i believe you are not allowed to push when the opponent is kicking, but in the sequence, the push was not happening during a kick at all. thank you for giving this info

Yes those are mistakes my student made, and that's on me and him. but there were points not scored or counted when they should have been. I am saying this from a standpoint of someone who loves tkd, but the rules have changed so much to where a simple push is illegal. I see your point, and i apologize for it seeming like i am targeting the judges, but they hosted the tournament giving advantages to their students. It's all good in the end

I agree. But in every sport there are going to be biased judges/refs, unfair advantages, and that's the world we live in. Everyone will always try and do what is best for them, at others expense. It's tough, but although i do think it's a bad example, i think that it also teaches them more about the real world.
