Afterword a giant cosmic, cat deletes math from existence, and everyone dies. But not before the resident Cascade happens, because there’s a fan made half-life about that event. So the combine invades earth while all of this is happening. not only that, but the UK is invaded by the Soviet Union, and the United Kingdom is officially a puppet state of the Soviet Union. This is before both Germanys, West and east, becomes nazbol. Which is a term that only makes sense in Russia, because World War III Germany invaded the Soviet union, which created national Bolsheviks in the first place, but ok. Not only that but a meteor is going to land on earth, then afterwards the sun is going to explode into a supernova, even though it isn’t big enough to do that and more realistically would just turn into a white star. also, in Canada, there is a orange demon dude who is also an alien I think, and he kidnappeds children on Halloween night. Also, he’s still best friends with an entity made out of slime, who liked posts where his fans bullied a child who criticized the slime dude, they bullied him by sending him illegal images, and telling him complex plans about how they will kill him. that’s how the slime dude stopped working with Scott Coffman and the fanverses. The last word the last human ever said on planet earth’s final moments as a planet before becoming a group of asteroids is the “And the prom is tomorrow” there was a prom scheduled for tomorrow, and all of this happened under the course of a single day. did you try to right click on portal in ur steam library at the list on the left then properties then "Installed Files" and click the button "Verify integrity of game files"? i remember some bug with my hl2 ep2 where there were missing textures on some stuff and other stuff but after i did that thing it got fixed

I love how this actively happens in real time, every death is like you got a little more brain damaged. Losing more and more textures. And its actively just fucking with you for fun.

This idea sounds like it can work or but at the same time not, you can find a source game with the textures and stuff and possibly mount it to the games without certain things

i tried decompiling the map with bspsource and the error messages state an "unknown_entity" and a bunch of "invalid/negative game lump" errors

try dragging d1_trainstation_01 into your portal maps folder and then going into the trigger

Try diying and fall of the map to see if theres something on the bottom, like in interloper series

Go to documents, Remove the portal folder, then reinstall portal😊

Mount HL2 to portal with the gameconfig.txt, and THEN touch the thing

Delete game in steam. Then delete all of the files related to portal 1. Then install it again

...... minus the missing textures, this happened to me in Half Life 2. In Ravenholm, because of course it was. I remember that i walked into a previous map from the one i was in, then the loading trigger disappeared, and i had to noclip to get places. When i used the map command, it carried over. It was weird.
