We sailed under the Bridge on June 28th 2024. It is always amazing.

We sailed back to back and got off the ship for 5 minutes. We were the only Guests on the ship for 35 minutes. It was amazing. I shot a few videos walking around the ship.

We sailed Back to Back. We got off the ship for 5 minutes and then we had the ship to our selfs for 35 minutes. It was amazing in so many ways. I shot a few videos as we walked around.

All of the rooms on the Summit have been updated with USB ports also. The room has plenty of outlets. I mentioned Alaska because the over hang my block your view of the mountains in Alaska. But we did love the shade it provided. On sea days,we loved watching the beautiful birds fly next to the ship.

The Saranac Lake Hotel is in the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate New York. A very beautiful and convenient location if you are visiting the Lake Placid area. The hotel is also part of the Hilton family of hotels. We loved the hotel.

Did you notice all the empty gates and planes parked at JFK?

Takeoff thrust was applied at the 16 second mark in the video. 30 seconds latter we were airborn and climbing fast. Only a 757 can climb like this.

One of the things you can not see in this video is how huge the main dinning room is. It is three levels high. Far more beautiful then any restaurant we have ever been to. What you can see in the video is the lower aft right corner that is a much smaller area. Can't wait to go back on the Mariner some day soon.

We have the Bahamas on our bucket list for sure. We will probably go via cruise when we go as well. We love cruises. Have not been on one in a few years.

I (Derick) went on the Big Red Boat back in 1993. Don’t really remember much of it now. I know the food was good and that the boat wasn’t so big, we looked like a tug boat compared to other ships in Nassau lol.
