After years of following society's definition of a successful life, we decided that there is more to life than the 9-5, large home...vacation home, and new cars. We learned that this lifestyle is tied to the need to work more, make more and buy more. We've decided to take another approach. An approach of minimalism, purchasing only what brings joy to our lives and living debt free traveling the US.
A few songs we have been working on. The Highway Drifters
Roland normally plays bass and Julie plays the drums, but we have been switching it up and trying new things. Here are some recordings of Roland on Guitar and Julie on bass. When I recorded we just had the camera pointed towards the ceiling, so no video. I figured I may as well add some old video to it so you were not just staring at the ceiling. We are finally finding the time to learn some music together, and having fun doing it!

I,(Julie) went on my first all ladies trail ride this week. We drove 78 miles to Burro Canyon. It was blast, and I can't wait to do it again!

We had such a great time on this ride. It was pretty fast pace and exciting! We rode to The Spanish wall, Apache Mine and Hogsback. Thanks Lee for being such a great guide.

Are you kidding me, this looks like a small beautiful apt, great decor, I wish this tour was longer, many blessings. Do another tour and make it longer, I enjoyed this.

Ok, so this is weird. Roland, you've always reminded me of a friend that I grew up with. About 15 minutes ago, I finished scrolling through pictures that his wife put up on Facebook of their family trip in Zion. Then, I opened up RUclips and saw this video. I've never seen you both in the same room. However, you both are apparently in the same park.

In this old van we had a bucket 🪣 with a toilet seat…cheap and effective solution 😅
Paul and Babe used to be next to the fire watch tower on the shore of Hubbard Lake (showing my age) . The speaker in Pauls pocket was hooked up to a microphone at some point. They were created by the same guy that did Dinosaur Gardens in Ossineke.
We certainly enjoyed our visit to Ossineke!

I know right! It’s so much fun putting it all together. Since going full time we introduced a bigger van and a converted utility trailer…it’s perfect for full time living and we absolutely love it ❤️
@@vantasticjourney4246 but do you really want all that stuff crashing forward into the back of the driver &/or passenger during a wreck??? I'm stunned how many people don't think about the physics of driving a van full of stuff...often hard metal & wooden objects...and never consider what kind of projectiles they'll become during a serious traffic accident... Ever hear of a van bulkhead??? A headache rack on a pickup truck??? They exist for a good reason.

lol! Yeah it feels like I don’t trust my body to make the right decisions. Lol! Like it’s in flight mode and may just take off on me. We just went for a side by side ride last weekend…ended up on a trail at the peak of a mountain…just enough room for the side by side…drop offs on both sides…I did it! Just gotta get over the fear😄

Yes! The park was beautiful. And Julie loves the fan. Makes such a difference on hot summer days…highly recommend. Oh and it’s rechargeable which makes it nice😊
