This is why I got a dual sense edge lol panic melees wear out the groove for R3, eventually is gets way to easy to push in, nice to be able to swap the worn joysticks and their guts when it gets that wonky.

Haven't tried this, but what I did before watching this video was swap R3 for lethal R1. I end up throwing out whatever lethal have. This essentially disables the R3 button because you can't trigger anything if you don't have lethals. So many downsides, one of which is you shouldn't run re-stock because you have to remember to discard any lethal you have when it recharges, so you're always fight ready. I personally like to run restock cause smokes are clutch end game. You lose the use of lethals as well is another annoying problem. If they could just make the malee action a combination of hitting both r1 and r2 simultaneously and disable R3. That would be ideal.

If y’all are on x box good luck but if you’re on PlayStation or pc you’re actually in luck. Buy a duel sense edge controller. You can disable buttons in the controller software and it’s an amazing pro controller so many different upsides to it. And it’s the only actual solution to this problem.

Iv been trying to do this since the last warzone. Now I won't go through so many TVs and remotes. It only seems to do it for me is when I use pistols. Trying to shoot fast. Then It tries to meele so then my remote get bounced off the wall.

What we need is exactly what the title says - the ability to disable R3. I play loads of similar games and for some reason this only happens in COD. Very strange. Instead of mêlée I now just keep pinging the whole map. Far from desirable but the lesser of two evils.
