Prehospital Paradigm
США
Добавлен 28 авг 2022
Prehospital Paradigm is dedicated to the education of all providers in the prehospital care of patients. This endeavor was started by John Hill, MD, Scott Wildenheim, Paramedic, Caleb Ferroni, Paramedic, and Ray Pace, Paramedic, with the release of the first podcast in 2023. The Prehospital Paradigm Podcast was the original focus of this group. We then expanded the Prehospital Paradigm to include all the various publications and trainings provided under the UH EMS umbrella, and to begin to seek out collaborators for additional content for this site. This umbrella vision will include all FOAMed produced by UH EMS.

I'm afraid that most people don't understand what you are saying... I do.
Thank you for your services💞✌️
The National Scope has cardiac epi and antiemetics included for AEMT’s Ohio just hasn’t caught with with National and most states yet.
Question, if your baby has omphalocele how would you cut the umbilical cord safely without injuring the organs?
i hated to watch that. my mom almost died in front of me. they resuscitated her. it was over something dumb too. she took a pill from a friend for something. i forgot what it was for, but the problem was that the dosage of the pill was for someone very heavy and my mom is tiny, so it made her feel bad and i took her to emergency room. moral of the story, don't take prescription medicine from friends and family.
I've never been terrified to be 6ft tall until now....
Are we talking about J Biden ???
Love this shit!! Keep it up. The health care world needs this.

RTF =Residencial Treatment Facilities medical. They should be Local, County, &:State funded. As are Fire Departments,, etc.
What gets soldiers killed most is the insane rules of engagement inposed on them by left wing politicians who never served anyplace other than the drive up window at McDonald's.
How about focusing more on what they go through AFTER their service…figure that out…
How about we focus on it ALL!?
Outstanding guys!
Another comment. I always hear we need to reduce time but our protocol requires us to do more procedures with the patient. I don't think UH should be suggesting we have needle play trying to start an I.V. while driving down the road. We want to do what's good for the patient but we also want to take care of us. I don't want to have an inadvertent needle stick to myself or coworker. During every continuing education class on stroke the presenter always says "don't delay transport to get a 12 lead". However it is impossible to get a 12 lead enroute to the hospital. During a routine patient interaction in the back of the squad with the motor running, we have to press the 12 lead button 2-3 times because according to the monitor, there is "excessive noise". And how well of a VAN assessment am I going to be able to do enroute? Per Ohio rules, unless we are performing life saving maneuvers we are not permitted to remove our seatbelt. If our seatbelt is not on, we are not covered by worker's comp. Also, the neurologist is going to do a VAN when we get there anyway. So there is a lot expected but we need to do things within the scope of our safety and protection also. So, if time is brain and we want to reduce the amount of time we are on scene, how about writing the protocol keeping in mind what's more important - Time or extra procedures.
Great show guys. One improvement can be made. Please record at a higher volume. I can barely hear you when I’m in my car. Sound quality is great just not the volume level.
Thank you guys..
I love this type of podcast media. I can easily listen to it while driving, walking the dog, etc. Great job fellas
Thanks for listening and glad you enjoy it. We are trying to create an interesting podcast that is entertaining, informative, and doesn't feel like a power point presentation.
Hello. Hoping to try that for depression, with nothing helps
