If you think about it, the Chiefs are a few plays from being in 6 straight super bowls. An offsides by Dee Ford (AFC Championship from 2018 season) and a stupid play at the end of the 1st half against the Bengals. If those two plays go the Chiefs way, who knows.

People love to write off Kelce as old and washed. He may be getting older, but as we all know, the mind of a QB can age like fine wine. And the Chiefs have two brilliant QB minds on the field at the same time out there.

Doubling kelce wont do anything because hes already constantly being double teamed. The reason it doesnt work out like you guys want is pat is more than willing to go to his other recievers who are all solid, other tight ends who are solid. The extra attention kelce gets plus the fact that the chiefs have a respectable ground game bodes well for the passing game. And sometimes, even with kelce being doubled, he still might get open because he can be creative in how he runs his routes, especially in the post season, and pat and him are on such a special wavelength that makes them difficult to stop.

Why is this bad for the league when everybody celebrated the dynasties of NE, Dal, SF, Pit et cet…. I get that people are getting Chiefs fatigue as I did when the Patriots won all the time but if you’re a football fan you should take the time appreciate the game the Chiefs are playing!! This feedback loop became the foundation of the goat QB resume. Mahomes was exciting early because he was singularly gifted, and because he had to. When Mahomes had his first season of 5k/50tds, it was because it was necessary. The chiefs defense that year was one of the worst defenses ever. As in, league history. The defense in 2018 was in the group of somewhere between the 20th and 4th worst ever, yet Mahomes was a penalty from the super bowl. Now, with an elite defense, the pressure is off. Mahomes having to air it out reminds me of those that said the new f-35 can't dogfight. People said not being able to dogfight makes it not a very good jet. The response was that it actually could, but the reality is we will never know. Because if the f-35 ever dogfights, it's because a series of huge mistakes have been made. Mahomes can be safe like Brady now. He's not a scary QB now because he could be a gunslinger if he wanted. He's scary because he might be the most talented QB in the history of the NFL, but he doesn't need to do that to beat you. It'll be scary when we are eventually calling Mahomes captain check down

Chiefs are down their #1 and 2 receivers. And down their #1 and 2 running backs. They signed Juju late, Kareem in the parking lot as you said and use an undrafted free agent as RB2 / 3 with another guy who got cut, Perine. Other than Kelsey and Grey, they don't have anyone playing regular downs at skill positions that were there for summer training camp. It's wild.

Calling Kareem just some running back they signed out of the parking lot is absolutely ludacrist!!! He was a top running back when he was with the Chiefs before. And now he's back with them with something to prove and a chip on his shoulder. He had over 100 yards in his 2nd game back come on now. They have a very good run game even without Pacheco.
