Hart, Blackhall Rocks and Crimdon Park with Interesting Walks NE ~ 7.7miles Winter drawers on!
When I woke I could see a blizzard through the gap in the curtains. I thought maybe the walk would be called off, but they a sturdy crew.
Flakes of snow fell at the meeting point and it was barely above freezing. A brisk NW wind made it colder.......
Fortunately, things improved.... Thanks for watching.

Lovely little* walk over familiar territory, but re-shuffled. Not shown nice 'bait stop' at Land of Oak and Iron (Sausage roll and a can of pop) All in all a pleasure to be out. Thanks for watching. *Funny how 6 miles is a little walk for me now......

Yet more stunning views and Autumn colours from Northumberland. Stopped for lunch at a remote cottage where it appears at least someone is trying to save it, as it is fully secure now and signs of work to prevent further decay/damage. Majestic views on the way back down Clennel street. Thanks for watching.

Variation on a previous walk: But as I've said: The same walk is different with the changing of the seasons. Pleas excuse me sounding a bit like Dart Vader, as I appear to have a bit of a chesty cold and could explain why I kept falling behnd. Thanks for watching.

Sorry about the name confusion at the start of today's walk - Edlingham was originally listed for today's walk and that is somewhere completely different. Beautiful walk on the Northumberland coast - surely amongst the best in the World... but maybe I'm biased? Thanks for watching.

A walk I've done 3 times now in various formats. The Autumn/Fall colours certainly raise the wow factor a notch in what is a beautiful and ethereal place anyway. Thanks for watching.

Sometimes it's easy (for me) to think 'just a walk with nowt much to see (maybe my frame of mind on the day) but really it was a beautiful 10 mile walk in good company that raises the spirit and does the heart and mind a world of good ..... again maybe it's just me and these dark mornings. Thanks for watching. Be well and stay safe.

An interesting coastal outing Chris. That was a people train there - I think the cows coped well. Ha ha! Good walking mate. Mark
I did make it all the way through Chris - nice amble that one bro. I imagine you've been pout in the snow now. All the best. Mark

So grateful for this! 🙏✨ May your week be as peaceful and uplifting as this music! 🌿💖

Racking up the miles! We're having a smashing Autumn.
What was the old building like a castle on the far bit of headland? Great to see you enjoying life.
Dunstanburgh Castle 😁
Awesome video Chris
Thanks 👍
Nice video, I know all these places and have walked all around them many many times. I live just along the road in Rowlands Gill. 😀
Hi Chris , loving these wonderful walking videos its like we all come and walk with you and your friends , sadly my mental health isn't so good lately because of accident at work a few years back which has left me with PTSD but these videos are a great tonic for me
Thank you Paul for watching and your kind comments. I started these videos as a sort of diary for myself when I'm no longer able to get out. Hopefully your health will improve and I would be delighted if, in the future you were able to get out with either Interesting Walks NE or Monday Jaunts groups. All the very best, Chris

Hi Chris, yet another great video, we were hoping to do this walk earlier this year but couldn't fit it in but definitely on the bucket list for 2025 thanks again for sharing it with us
It is a very pleasant walk :)
Awesome video Chris
Thank you
Nice one, matey. There's a dud picture flag again. It's that a high point marker?
Yup
Awesome video Chris
I'm still loving that moody mist Chris. That looked a good autumn walk and route. There were some colours out. Have a great week ahead. Mark
Cheers Mark. We were sure to 'Stay on the path' ...
@@chrisk3488 A pleasure Chris. Good to hear you never lost your way.
Very enjoyable to watch , thanks Chris

I agree Chris - it is a lovely walk. The autumn colours were out and the sound of water was doing its thing. Good going. Mark
Thanks Mark 😊
@@chrisk3488 A pleasure Chris. Gave a good week ahead.
Attaboy! I do two walks a day with the dogs, and the total on a good day is around ten miles. It's very impressive that you can bang these out in a one-er! Been getting some foot pain lately, just about to give my new boots a try - hopefully the saying you get what you pay for is not completely true because mine were about a fifth the price of some.
Awesome video Chris
I’m glad you mentioned about it being £2 to park all day at Alwinton. I went there for the first time ever today and I wouldn’t have had enough change with me for the parking if you hadn’t mentioned it! Thanks for doing the video 👍🏻
Another great video.... Thanks Chris

I did this walk in the summer of 1990 with the love of my life. We left Ambleside youth hostel about 6.30am and walked up, coming across a fellow sleeping on the side of the track in a sleeping bag. He was gone on our way back. My love and I kissed at the top overlooking the lake. I recall having to climb over a large tree that had fallen across the track. I imagine it has rotted away now. Will always love you Narelle, Hope you're happy.

Excellent walk Chris . Nicely filmed . Not a place I've been to yet . I must get myself over there , next time I visit Rothley crags and Wallington .
Do you have a favourite stretch of coastline in the North East? Somewhere I could bring the dogs and let them off the lead.
I think Druridge Bay and Budle Bay are all good for dogs. Closer to home Blyth Beach and Seaton Sluice in parts is okay for dogs.👍
@@chrisk3488 You're making me feel like a lousy Southerner. Quite a long trek from Hartlepool for the dogs in the boot
@@Costa_del_Artlepool Lol Aye ... I think the beaches at Seaburn and Roker are okay too 😁
@@chrisk3488 Thanks, I've just watched a Roker and Seaburn vid and there's a kid's play area that I remembered instantly - I was probably taken there once at least 40 years ago. I'll have to go there!
Cracking.

It's nice to be on paths like these that linked the old villages and think of our ancestors walking them centuries ago.
A bit of a coastal jaunt on this one Chris. A nice spot of coastline and a pretty cool gothic looking house there. Good going. Mark
Thanks 🙂
@@chrisk3488 Pleasure.
Looked lovely out there Chris with all the heather. You have to wonder with the old system there whether they ever made their money back. Fascinating. All the best. Mark
