I’m disabled and have spinal cord issues and nerve degeneration. There was a surgery I needed that people generally need later in life- at the time I was 31. The nurse checking me in for preop said “aren’t you a little young for this surgery.” I replied “I’m aware.” The rest of the appointment was so awkward.

I never understood why people think just cuz you're pretty and young that means you wont have a disability

The police often can’t come to a parking spot quickly enough to ticket the LOSERS who are illegally parked and blocking access for people who use wheelchairs! The courts typically reduce the fines to $1, or toss it. 😢

The morally bankrupt are socially handicapped. But they still should lose the air in their tires for this.

I take my partner shopping i park in full view of the handicap spots. Its amusing not only the ones that illigally park but those who actially have obtained a blue badge.😮

My intention is to be kind to others o matter what the response she is. I do intend to make people smile and help people in any way I can everyday. I’m kind of stuck in my situation where I am and not having accessibility to be able to see people or even be able to upload videos to RUclips longer than shorts more than once a week when we go into town to do laundry. I will never let that or anything stop me or stand in the way of my growth.

That why I started my channel

I love this, I wish I had something like this before I got my amputation but I’m ok now. Still love to see this type of thing being put out there and all the things that are being done to help the disabled community. My goal in life now since being amputated is to connect with other like minded and like bodies individuals. Not sure if I said that right but I just wanted to say it and put it out there.

I would love to be involved with ablr one day and I would also love to do rock climbing. How do I find out more about this event and where it is. I’m in, Morganton, North Carolina.
