During my time living in Kulki (Cape Tribulation); the Daintree Rainforest during 2021/22, I was sat in my singular cabin and starting playing something which seemed, to me, different. It took some time for me to realise that it was because of my new environment in this incredible place. 'Movement' did not start as an intentional representation of where I was, and it seemed as though my guitar was the catalyst for the music of the forest before I even knew it myself. You really capture the dynamics of The Daintree, from her intense, force of nature energy to her gentle delicate butterfly energy and then the percussive element feels like her heartbeat. You are inspiring me to learn percussive guitar, I am more folk fingerstyle but I really love the percussive element. Are you in an open tuning in this?
