Also, when it comes to traveling in Japan, transportation to tourist destinations isn't often covered in much detail, so I'd like to address that aspect as well.

Yokohama Day Trip guide : How to Make the Most of a Day Exploring 12spots (Japan travel)
I took a stroll in Yokohama's harbor area.I haven't introduced places that are not suitable for a leisurely walk for a day trip, along with other tourist attractions, this time.
Yokohama is just 30 minutes away from Tokyo or Shinjuku, making it an ideal destination for a day trip. However, compared to Kamakura or Hakone, it feels less known among tourists.
All 12 spots introduced can be explored in a day trip.
I'm sure you'll like it, so please explore!
I personally recommend visiting Yamashita Park and Chinatown during the day.
The night views are spectacular, so I suggest going to the area with Landmark Tower and Cosmo World in the evening or later.

Thank you for the tour! We plan to visit, but you gave us so much more information! Excellent!
too little details about how to get there and there ....
Nice thing ❤❤
Aw the way she talks is so fast
Before purchasing the Hakone freepass, please ask for the Hakone freepass brochure and read the fine print on the bottom of the front page. There is a rule that says, "The Hakone Freepass (including those valid for multiple days) cannot be used after returning to your departure station." Basically, the freepass is encourages people to stay in Hakone to fully benefit from it. It doesn't matter if two or three days pass once you return back to Shinjuku station, the freepass cannot be reused again. In our case the station staff took away our two-day pass which was only used for one day. Anyway, I think I should put it out there to let everyone know there is a rule they need to know about it. Love your videos.
How many channels have you posted this on? lol
This is a splendid informative clip. Cheers!
I just discovered your channel, Amazing content I spent 4 months living in Fukuoka and definitely going back
This is the best video I've seen on things to do in Ueno
Nice video. I visited Kamakura 8 years ago, visited again 2 weeks ago. I've been pretty much all the places mentioned in the video except Eisho-ji and jufuku-ji, have visited Enoshima and spent half a day on the island as well.
Great sharing. Thanks
Thanks for the recommendation, I have a question, Did you stay in Hakone or return to Tokyo? Do you know if Hakone free pass include the transportation for 2 days or only one day?
You lost me when AI pronounce HaKone wrong
😂😂😂
I'm visiting soon. Thank you so much for this detailed video!
Thank you for this informative video. Which area is the best to stay for a 2day visit- to ensure we are close to most landmarks.
We are going to Japan mid of May. Staying at Hakone for 5 days. Very excited. What is the weather like? Thanks
Thank you for your comment. You might already know this, but don't miss the Tsutsuji Garden at Hotel de Yama (near Hakone Shrine) if you're in Hakone in May. Bus tours are common in Japan. In May, Japan often enjoys sunny and pleasant days. On warmer days, temperatures can reach around 25°C, making short sleeves suitable. Hakone may be a bit cooler than Tokyo. Since there aren't many clothing or umbrella shops around, it's useful to have a foldable umbrella, long sleeves, and a lightweight jacket with you, just in case. Wishing you a wonderful journey!
Thank you...very much appreciated. Excellent information.
Gracias por sus recomendaciones, las tomare en cuenta para mi próximo viaje
Truly local stuff you have showcased which no one shows. Well done
Really informative.
Thank you for showing the less common places in Japan. I'm a frequent traveller to Japan and these videos are helpful :-)
Nice Tokyo guide.
Arigato! The country I have always desired to visit is Switzerland.

Thank you for watching !
Thank you for this video. I will be staying at Ueno and it's very helpful, especially the map at 8:38.
Thank you, I'm glad if it helped you in some way. Have a great trip!
Thank you for this excellent video. You cover so many interesting places in so little time. Very concise! I look forward to watching your other videos ✌️.
Thank you for your nice comment! I'll work hard so that I can get better. Please do check it out if you have any places of interest.
Love love your detail and guiding video! We are going there in 10 days . Thank you ❤
Thank you!I think Hasedera tempe will be crowded, Enjoy Kamakura.

Thank you for your feedback. I'll improve the audio in my upcoming videos.
@@OmoroiNipponit was fine.
14:20 Those Halloween designs are cute! I often vacation in Japan but I've never been to the Nikko area. Thanks to your video, I will visit it. Good luck growing your channel!
Thank you for watching. I'm really happy with your comments!
I’ve just returned from Japan and specifically Kabukicho area in Shinjuku (Sep 22-25). I am happy to have covered most spots in your video, which btw is very well done. I did inadvertently step into 3 different streets with Nigerian pimps, but successfully ignored and sidestepped each of them. Aside from that, l really liked the vibe and energy of the area, and am sure of visiting Shinjuku again. Japan is a great country with undoubtedly the most disciplined people on earth.
Thank you for your comment. The impact of the Olympics has led to significant improvements, but the crime rate in Kabukicho is still relatively high, around 45% (compared to 1% for all of Shinjuku Ward), and there are incidents targeting foreign tourists. Being aware of unsafe areas and having information beforehand can help you avoid them. I'm glad you enjoyed Shinjuku, and I hope you'll consider visiting Shinjuku and Japan again in the future!
Thanks for the great and extremely detail guide! Will be visiting Japan in Nov and looking forward to all the great sights and food😊
Thank you for your comment. Since the autumn foliage season can get quite crowded, make sure to plan your time accordingly, especially for the evening bus. Have a great trip!
是非 箱根を楽しんで下さい。
This is a fantastic guide, Thank you. I'm going to visit Japan next year
Thank you for your comment.I hope you have a wonderful trip!
Interesting choice of areas, but why is some of the footage blurred?
Thank you for your comments. My mosaic editing skills are a bit amateurish… and I'm using a mobile phone for filming. I've just started on RUclips, but I'll work on improving for better visibility.
@@OmoroiNippon That’s not what I meant, I was referring to the purposeful blurring of people when filming restaurants, cafes and the like…
Great video!
Starting from the end of October, JR Tokai's "Nozomi" and "Hikari" Shinkansen trains heading towards Osaka and Kyoto will no longer have onboard sales services. Instead, starting from November, they will exclusively offer services for the Green Car (First Class), with a new system where passengers can place orders using their mobile devices. (Announced on August 9th, 2023)
On the other hand a place like Kichijōji means 45-50 minutes train ride and a transfer to almost every popular landmarks bar Shinjuku.
Kichijoji is about a 20-minute ride on the Chuo Line to Shinjuku. You can reach Shibuya in 30 minutes by taking the Inokashira Line, and since it's the first train, there's no crowding. There's a direct bus to the airport. The Ghibli Museum, famous for "Spirited Away," is also nearby. It's a blend of urban and natural, with a local vibe that's worth recommending.
When visiting a city as huge as Tokyo for a few days or even a week your first criteria should be transportation and easy access to popular landmarks, and for that purpose Shinbashi is a no-brainer. Asakusa-sen offers direct trains to Narita (slightly above 1 hr trip), Sensō-ji, Skytree, while Ginza-sen gives easy access to Ameyoko-Ueno, Akihabara, Ginza and Shibuya. It's also the most convenient starting point for Odaiba (Yurikamome), Yokohama (25 minutes by Tōkaidō-sen) or even Kamakura (50 minutes by Yokosuka-sen) and basically all around Tokyo with Yamanote-sen. From Shinbashi you can easily walk to Ginza-chuō, Tsukiji outer market, Hama-rikyū garden, Tokyo Tower, or even go to the Imperial Palace or Roppongi. The few blocks south of the station offer a vast choice of restaurants.
My second pick would be Ueno / Yushima / Akihabara.
I forgot to mention Ueno. It's convenient for getting to Tokyo and Asakusa in about 5 minutes, and it's also handy for getting to the airport.
You can go further out and still be fine in terms of convenience. Anywhere on the Tozai Line will be cheaper ... Monzen Nakacho, Toyocho,... with the added benefit of few to zero foreign tourists.
@@OmoroiNippon You also have several reasonable hotels right there, and Ameyoko to the south for shopping and affordable dining.
