Akhi, I agree with you that we need to be diligent from who we take our knowledge from as there many deviant sects. Not everyone has access to the big uleamas. Secondly, what aqeedah deficiencies do these brothers whom you are discouraging people from benefitting have. They are all from ahlu sunnah (follow the manhaj of the salaf) whether you agree or not. They are all the products of medina university. No one is infallible. We all have our shortcomings. The discouraging of people from certain personalities is nothing new and will probably continue for a long time. Sometimes, certain individuals or even scholars may discourage people from benefitting from certain people out of jealousy and not based on any aqeedah issue. They search for one small shortcoming and use that to discourage people.

Bidah is haram only in the religion. It is defined as: any invented way in religion that is aimed at worshipping or drawing closer to Allaah. This means anything that is not referred to specifically in Sharee'ah, and for which there is no evidence (daleel) in the Qur'aan or Sunnah, and which was not known at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his Companions.

@@ManOnEarth7 If by “correcting the ruler” you mean calling for insurrection such that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia might resemble Syria, Libya and Yemen, then no, this isn’t the way of the Salaf. May Allāh protect the Kingdom, reward their rulers for their good, and guide them for their shortcomings.

Asalamu alaikum sister, please speak to your local imam or a knowledgeable Muslim who can help you with your situation. Make alot of dua in these 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. I pray Allah makes things easy for you and grants you patience. Allah tells us our purpose in surah tabarak in the second verse, he said he created death and life so that to test which one of us does the best deed. The scholars mention there are two test, the test of qadr (having patience with Allah's qadr) and the test of following Allah's Laws. So advise you to he patient with Allah's qadr, he willed this trial to happen to you. The Prophet said "How wonderful the affair of the believer is! Indeed, all of his affairs are good for him. This is for no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is grateful to Allah, which is good for him. And if something bad happens to him, he has patience, which is good for him." Sahih/Authentic. - [Muslim] Know that Allah is with his slaves who are patient as he mentioned in his glorious book, "oh you who believe, seek help through patience and Salah, indeed Allah is with the patient ones". I advice you make extra Salah when you can, for this will bring comfort to your soul during these tough times and you will receive Allah's helped, as he mentioned. Have full yaqeen that Allah will help you if you are patient and worship him because he said in another verse: فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ "So be patient . Surely Allah’s promise is true. " Will Allah really leave his slave hanging after Allah promised him something? And if you ever feel like losing hope, or think Allah has abandoned you, or doesnt want good for you because of the situation youre in, then I advise you to remember our beloved Prophet s.a.w said in the hadith: Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If Allah wills good for someone, He afflicts him with trials.” Indeed this was the case for Prophet Yusuf a.s when they placed him in prison, and look at how his ending was so beautiful because he remained patient? Also inshaAllah try to remember that the ultimate goal is Jannah, and to be saved from the Fire. The Prophet said: All of the children of Adam are sinners, and the best sinners are those who repent.” Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, رحمه الله said there are 3 great rivers for those who sin.. “For the people of sins there are three great rivers with which they purify themselves in this world and if these do not suffice in purifying them, then they are purified in the river of Hell-fire on the Day of Judgment: 1. A river of sincere repentance. 2. A river of good deeds that drowns the sins that surround it. 3. And a river of great calamities (that befall the sinner) that expiate (his sins) The fourth river, if we don't do these three is jahnnam..May Allah protect us from that. "Allah says إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍۢ "Only those who come before Allah with a pure heart ˹will be saved˺.” Surah ash Shura verse 89 The people of knowledge say that "will be saved" means saved from the Fire and therefore the person will enter jannah. How can someone get a pure and sound heart? When someone gets his sins removed, then his heart becomes more sound and pure. Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Nothing afflicts a Muslim of hardship, nor illness, nor anxiety, nor sorrow, nor harm, nor distress, nor even the pricking of a thorn, but that Allah will expiate his sins by it.” This is another reason to be patient and embrace the situation you're in. Lastly I advise to make dua, the Prophet said in a hadith " when you make dua to Allah, make it with certainty that you believe he will answer"

@@re03387 Salams sister how are you - I recommend reaching out to a female Shaykh and remember Allah allows women to divorce if needs are not met for the women either. What you have described sounds like emotional abuse, and you do not deserve to tolerate it. Even if you have built a long life with this person, it does not make you any less of a muslim or person, if you choose to leave this abusive person. Please think about yourself first. At the end of the day, we all pass away on our own, no one comes to save us

I know many sisters and female cousins who have been in this situation and Alhamdulilah, it gets better, once you realize that your happiness is best for all parties involved. In our culture, it's "taboo" to talk about these things, but you will be an unsung hero, if you speak up for yourself. If you speak up for yourself, you are speaking up for all other women who are silently suffering. And if you are at risk for speaking out, then Allah will make a way out, as long as you have trusted people around you to help you get out of a situation (if it comes to that).
