Over easter break, I made a trip to Calais in France to assess the refugee situation, donate some essential food and dental supplies and volunteer for the day at the Refugee Community Kitchen. Going in little did we know that it had been made illegal even to feed refugees. But the law has never stopped justice and it never will; not when humanity is involved.
Here's a video letter of the trip. It barely touches the surface in capturing this experience that I will write more about, but it serves as evidence to the ways in which you can give your time and resources to better the situation at least slightly.
