A 20x20 cube would be 88998 rings, using the Japanese 8 in 2 method you're demonstrating. That'd be about 5,580 feet of 18ga (SWG) wire. Also, you left out the horizontal rings in the interstitial layers.

What size ring should I get? There is SWG and then the ID? I tried going with what they advised and they are too small for me to work with (18SWG 1/8)
