FPV Drone Experience | MY FIRST YEAR
I started building a 3 inch fpv drone in late 2022 and finally got all the kinks worked out early 2023. I don't think I was prepared for how consumed and drawn in I would be to this new hobby, gadget, experience, whatever you want to call it. I was all in. Somehow that year, my job took me to some incredible places. Everywhere I went, I brought my drone along.
Cinematic shots were my goal, and along the way I learned to use ND filters for motion blur, and subtle stick inputs for smoother, cleaner shot.
I have a long way to go but I think it was an amazing first year!
As always content is king. If you pair that with knowing your equipment and how to get fluid and dynamic shots, you're alway...

Weldtec designs 5" lift | Alignment and rubbing fix!
Просмотров 983Год назад
This is what I did to address alignment and rubbing issues after installing the Weldtec Designs Baja Grocery getter 5" suspension kit. The reason my tires rub is because I welded the driver side bracket slightly past the recommended 10" mark. This caused the tire to rub the finder on the door side. Both tires rubbed the plastic part of the front bumper, but that was a quick fix with the grinder...
Dome Light Fix and LED Upgrade for only $25 | 2001 Ford Econoline
Просмотров 7 тыс.2 года назад
After I acquired my 2001 Ford E-150, I noticed that only the front dome lights worked. I checked the bulbs and power source, and realized that all the metal contacts needed to be polished. After this simple fix, it was clear the factory bulbs were not getting the job done. I replaced the front and middle with LED bulbs, and the rear cargo light will a small LED panel that fits in dome light ass...
Project Econoline | Rear Lift | baja grocery getter DIY part 2
Просмотров 12 тыс.2 года назад
This is part 2 in lifting my 2001 Ford Econoline. The kit is the Baja Grocery Getter 5" lift from Weldtec Designs. I did this entire lift over several weekends by myself. This was a very straight forward process, and didn't require much more than a jack, jackstands, and a decent socket set. I managed to disassemble the stock suspension with just a breaker bar, but reassembled everything using a...

Making a Knife from a Circular Saw Blade
Dang!! Good job!! I see your video was made 4yrs ago. How’s the tent doing now?
I know you take it to alignment shop but you don’t need to take it out to turn it, you can turn it inside also the cut in the bushing should be facing back to add more positive caster which is the one who makes the car drive in straight line First time I did it I put it like you and alignment shop never touch it
You got that in slow motion ?
awesome work!! wow
its ugly, but its on there! lol.
Nice, thx!
I had the same problem with those lights in mine. On the middle and front lights, it looks like on yours, they come on when they are flush in the housing instead of being on when you rotate it out. Is that right? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Are those leds more efficient?
Doing this myself after seeing your video, Is there any extra instructions or tips you have? I'm a beginner sewer and really don't want to mess this up
YES! Go for it. I would suggest using some kind of tissue paper for the bug net. There's a lot of support for this. I didn't and probably just got lucky, but there can be some issues from that. Also make the tub a bit deeper. This should help if you get into some heavy rain. Thanks!
How many Sq yds of noseeum is that? Ty!
What is your wheel offset? I love that look
Ahhh you make that look easy...except for the soldering. (Brought back tears when my husband gifted me with our first color TV in KIT form. Yes they did too make TV's in kits back in the 70's.) My question is do you have a recommendation for a new radio antenna? Ours was busted when we bought it a year ago. A 2001 Ford E350 that's got the spit-in image of your dash. If you can point me to an Antenna on Amazon most helpful. Thanks for such an easy to follow and grasp tutorial.
Thanks for sharing the memories! I'm afraid mine is in bad shape too. Seems I just use the bluetooth audio more than radio anyway. After a quick search I found this one: www.amazon.com/AntennaMastsRus-Compatible-350-Guaranteed-Engineered/dp/B01MQDHOY2/ref=asc_df_B01MQDHOY2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=692875362841&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14498382701760984092&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9013139&hvtargid=pla-2281435177658&psc=1&mcid=51bdb4fa4bcb3bcb93b80a78dd7818f8&hvocijid=14498382701760984092-B01MQDHOY2-&hvexpln=73&gad_source=1 Hope it helps! Thanks for watching!
Questions. Will this work on a 2003 Ford work van ? What else will I need ? I want to upgrade my stock ray-didio with a Bluetooth and maybe GPS. I do commercial HVAC and need this so I am not as extracted by messing with my phone. HELP !
how are things?- Oddjobsguy. well . goodbye,👍
Very well thanks!
Holy fuck I literally spent all day looking for instructions. Finally found them via your video. Thanks dude. You’re the shit (the good kind).
HAHA! Glad I could help 👍
Very cool... some day I need to get the 5 inch for my 13 E350..
For the slower people in your audience can you explain how you got it to work exactly
You bet! Just take the wire that says "Parking Brake" and run it to a ground
Super fire man
How do you secure the unit in place? great video by the way.
About that….its just gravity Thanks for watching 👍
Good video. Thanks for showing us.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What is that bolt that goes in the I beam connecting the radius arm size. Think im going to have to use a star socket to get mines out.?
I'm afraid I don't know exactly which you mean. The I beams connect to the cross member on one side, then a huge bolt running through it and the radius arm on the other side. I used a crescent for the cross member side, and a deep 30mm socket for the long bolt connecting the radius arm and I beam. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Could you bolt on rather than weld ???
I think they're weld only. On my E-150 the rear climate control lines are tucked in the frame behind the bracket. This would make it very difficult to run a bolt through the frame without coming into contact with these lines.
Does the kit come with the wheels and tires ???
Just the lift no wheels or tires
Looks great
Do you sell these?
What is that part called where the arm is leaning down at 10:19 called? Anyone
Those are the I Beams
So how exactly did you get it to play movie while driving?
Just run the wire labeled "Parking Brake" to a ground

Damn, your a genius 😁
the entry slit is quite unique! Well done
Many Thanks! It kind of tight to get in and out, maybe a half circle would have been better
my e350 keeps turning the dome lights on by itself and drains my battery
Dang! maybe tape them open or shut
Bravo!! "Im your Huckleberry"...
How much you charge to do a kit like this on a 2002 Ford Econoline E250
No time I'm afraid, would be a fun job though
What roof rack do you have?
It's a Smittybilt Defender rack
Did you change your rear end gears? If not, how much power loss did you get with the bigger tires?
I didn't not change gears and it really drives the same. My van has the 9.75 axle with 3.55 gears and a limited slip. If I put on 35" tires then I'd probably change gears, or pull a 3.73 from a salvage yard
What wheels are you running on it? Size and offset?
American Racing Baja's with zero offset
I hope it's okay
Looks like the rear lift was easier than front? How much would a place charge to install that lift kit? I dont have all those tools, lifts, grinders etc
The rear was pretty easy (minus the upper shock mount bolts) Not really sure what a place would charge for labor, but it's a bit of a process.
That’s Awesome. Great Work. I Want This Done To My E-250. Thanks For Sharing.
Thanks for watching!
did you need to get a alignment after?? what motor do you have in the van?? 5.4? 4.6? 351?
I have the 4.6. And yes it desperately needs an alignment after the lift. I pretty much eyeballed it myself. Here's of video of that process ruclips.net/video/2IMK8RQnmPk/видео.html Thanks for watching!
DUDE!! THAT'S BY FAR... the absolute best DIY content I've seen!! Frickin hilarious, too!! Thank you!👍👏👏
Wow you're too kind!! Thanks so much for that, it makes the effort worthwhile.

Raise it into a pet!
Lol are you making these for people???❤
No, just a one and done
@Jbmongold no worries I ended up trying a paria brand version of this and just confirmed I'm a hammock person years of doing this in the army has broke me lol thanks for the reply
That's the lift I want to do on my 99 E350
DO IT!
well done 👍🤙 watched and liked your last van videos . even if I dont have a US van but Volkswagen T4 I love them . channel added to follow you 🤙👍🍺🍺🍺 Greeting from 🇨🇵😉
I need to put some outriggers on the van and float it across the pond!!! thanks for the like and Sub 🇺🇸👍🇫🇷
I have a 2000 e150. I did put solid aluminum rims and automotive 60s all around, but no lift anything. I've been told it looks lowered, but no. I bought it new in 2001, but I don't think I'd have the wear with all to tackle what you did. Even back then. I did think about taller coils, but its fine. Just bought new 60s, next time I may go with more off/ on road tires. But they're definitely more noisy for road use and that's about all she does anyway. It does look nice all up like that. More like a 350. And the black rims are cool. I wanted to get chrome bumpers too, but couldn't see spending the money. So I painted um charcoal. Alls well. Good job 👍👍
Thanks! How did the bumpers hold up to the paint? I'm thinking I want to fab some custom bumpers with tow points and maybe a rear swing away. Still don't have a proper spare tire 😬
@@Jbmongold I repainted them when I first bought it. Thought about chrome, but decided why spend the money. So just painted them a dark gray semi gloss, along with the grill and headlight frames. Needs it again but have too many other things to do.
Cool video ,, Subscribed and thumbs up very well done
Awesome thank you! 👍🏻
That was hilarious! Thanks.
Did you check on it after 15 mins?? If the parents haven't returned to it something happened to parents. It was very hungry which means it was there too long. Just to be short.. you should have kept it and raised it as a pet or new family member. With a 80% mortality rate it most likely wouldn't have made it. They make excellent companions as they are intelligent & social. Wish u would have made a follow up video.. it probably died most likely. The parents would have been around screaming at u if they saw u near chick. R. I. P. little sparrow.
