Toto In-Wall Toilet Tank - Access and Shut Off Valve
Просмотров 11 тыс.2 года назад
These are my notes for the next time this in wall tank toilet gives me problems. The tank completely emptied and the float was stuck so the tank wasn't refilling. I opened the panel and carefully added water till the float freed itself.

This unit was smartly designed for easy repairs, if ever needed. The time consuming part(s) of the job is removing the debris from the fins of the blower assembly and optional: Oops, I dropped a screw into my tool bucket 🙄 Stay safe and turn off the electricity while servicing.
1962 GE Console - Turntable and Tuner Work
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.6 лет назад
This gorgeous all wood cabinet console looks like it was brought to us in a time machine. The sticker hints that it was a Christmas present in 1962. User's manual included. The turntable including automatic operation and tuner work. The light on the hatch and front of the cabinet are also functional. There is a beautiful brass Record Saver slot and Vacu-Magic Record Cleaner on the tone arm in f...

I just picked this same one up for free from some people but it doesn’t come with the record player. Do you know what kind of wood it’s made from?
Congrats on the console and sorry, I have no clue. I had to give mine up years ago. It had a gorgeous, tight grain and felt heavy as an elephant. I hope that you are able to make something out of yours.
@@RoxyLegs yeah hopefully it turns out nice.
As seen in the movie Coogan’s Bluff.
Ge only made the vacu-magic tone arm in 1962
I never knew how to maintain the vacuum noozle whilst I owned the console. It would gather some amazing dust bunnies, however it kept debris away from the needle.
1964 has the exact same tone arm with vacuum tubing
Gee,its always nice to hear shitty modern music on a beautiful piece from the 60's. I feel sorry for the stereo. Think of all the great music it played when it eas new.
If I ever lose my mind enough to haul home another elephant of 60's console- I promise to play you some Stevie Wonder.
That changer is gorgeous, does the vacu-magic record cleaner work well?
I no longer own the console, but vacu-magic was interesting. It made a slight, low sound and would occasionally need cleared of dust bunnies. I didn't feel like my needle could be damaged when I made a quick wipe across the nozzle, unlike the build up that sometimes happens on my current turntables.
@@RoxyLegs Fascinating! Thanks for the info!
😳
Go off Vanilla sis. ❤ this my song. Love it keep going 🫶🏾
I have this model and I love it. It has sentimental value to me. The lid won’t stay up on my console. The hinges broke. They were made poorly. I use a rod to hold up the lid.
I totally had a stick to hold the lid up too 🤣 I never knew the hinges could hold it up. Everything about that console was solid and heavy.
@@RoxyLegs your console looks much better than mine. The outside and inside of yours is more expensive looking than mine. Exact same turntable though. Yes the hinges used to hold the lid up. It seems unbelievable now. 🥱😂🤣
I just bought this and the seller said it worked, however it does not. The tuner works.
That tonearm is awesome!
Great education for the lad!
That Dragon painting ....🔥🔥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥
Hi Stephanie, I have a similar 1962 GE Console that I got from a family friend recently. But I don't have the User Manual that comes with it. By chance can I get a copy of yours somehow? My model is the 1962 Barrington which is listed on your User Manual in the video. Thanks so much and what a great console! Cheers
I hope you treasure and have space for that console as long as you want it. Unfortunately in a move a couple years back, my beloved console was re-homed to a record store owner that had recently retired and closed the shop. I have no way of contacting him and his family. Otherwise, yes, I would gladly share the manual.
@@RoxyLegs Aww - thanks for your quick reply and support! If you recall the name of the record store, I may be able to find his name and contact. Regardless, it gives me hope that someone may have a copy out there. Thanks again and stay safe - crazy times out there!
I believe that the willow genus (Salix) has high levels of indolebutyric acid (a hormone) that encourages that plant's own meristematic tissue to develop into adventitious roots.
Thank you, I always appreciate a little extra knowledge to satiate my curiosity!!
"I like to play with things that cut glass" glas im not alone!
Erich Mais You are not alone! This world is full of people, too bad they are all weirdos 😁
