The SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline.
Each season (September - March), the Sanctuary rehabilitates over 70 seal pups that have been rescued for various reasons, from malnourishment to being separated from their mum.
The Sanctuary also provides a permanent home to animals that need special care from our team of marine animal experts.

The Cornish Seal Sanctuary origins
We had to share this old BBC footage of our founder Ken highlighting the issues he had when building the Sanctuary back in the 1970's. He was certainly a man on a mission! The pools are still standing today, although in desperate need of updating, that's why we are fundraising through our Fund our Future campaign.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dearest Ray. It is never easy to lose one of our family but with Ray it is especially difficult. He was such a big character and meant so much to all of us here at the Sanctuary, but also to our guests who adored him equally.
