I’m banned from them as well. They closed my account and took all my points. So now I can only buy from destashes. I was a weekly buyer from them until I commented on another small shop’s YT video and everyone who commented got banned. I got an email saying my last order which was already in its way was cancelled and they don’t want to be associated with my any more. So I’m bot dealing with them anymore. But if I like an image and an artist is exclusively licensed with them I’ll see if I can buy it from a destash. Tfs your experience. Totally relate to your feeling. xx

Hi! Hmmm…I know it came in my last group import in March this year. I buy paintings at various companies in the USA over a few months, and when there’s a lot, I import them together. It doesn’t have the new perforated film, so I bought it probably start of this year. I’m guessing. I don’t keep track when I buy what, I probably should log that into my tacking app too: date ordered. 🙈 xx

I bought her from a private destash and think I might have paid $150-ish (thereabouts). I searched for a long time and was also a diamond member, sometimes that just didn’t help. My Enys Guerrerro Button Eye mystery kit which was my top unicorn, I paid $250 for in a destash. I respect each person’s views on this. I wanted them really bad, I knew the seller and they needed the money more than I did, I had the money to do that at the time, but now I’m done chasing expensive destash items. Getting my 2 unicorns was enough and even though there’s always ISO’s, I will only buy them at reasonable prices. I believe you will find her one day. Things have a way of crossing our paths when we least expect it. xx

@@steffysdiamonds that's what I hope for. I have considered paying that price for her. It was offered to me once by someone I knew. I ended up turning it down, but if I had the funds, I'd likely have done it. I hope one day she does become mine, but if not, I have plenty in my stash to last years to come. Yes unfortunately they do that a lot. Everyone who commented on that video I mentioned, got banned because it was a big topic at that time. And when I started joining small business groups on FB and here, people talk about that’s how they came here because they got banned, and nobody still in the D VIP FB group will talk about it in fear they get banned too. I still have the email, that was the worst being told we don’t want to associate with people who commented on that video, please do not buy from us in future again. I tried but they just cancel your order and refund you your money. I still love the art so now I have to get it indirectly.

I was worried to get bad comments, as sometimes you see that with stash videos, but everyone has been so lovely and kind. The diamond painting I was looking for I actually found in the other room’s closet, and I added her in the app. The app shows 146 at the moment. I think I’ll still be below 160 in total. Not too rough. People with over 400 stashes is quite an overwhelming thought for me. But I have some cross stitch conversion patterns as well, just need to buy the drills and blank canvases, and then I ordered 2 new customs. 😊 Have a lovely day. Sending a big hug, xx ❤️

Thanks for the tip my friend! I go through plastic multiplacers quite fast as I’m a hard presser and they get those rough edges quickly. Instead of throwing them away I should try that and use them a bit longer! I hope these blue ones that look like a harder material will last longer. I don’t really love the metal tips, tried them all, the plastic ones are mych nicer to work with in my opinion. xx🩷

Yes! I’ve seen DAC started making screw in metal tips, but I like working with plastic tips more than their metal ones, so I will definitely be trying them out! 😃💙

Hi Elmé 🌸 I use a parcel forwarding company. There’s quite a few to choose from. It is however very expensive and therefore I have slowed down. All of these companies gives you an international address. So you pay for the product including shipping and tax. The US states have their own tax, so you pay that. Then the delivery invoice including tax are sent to you to get to OR Tambo. Then you get a customs invoice to release your goods from last mentioned. And all of these payments except customs are in foreign currency. So to give an example, my last 2 imports cost me R12,000 each, excluding paying for the diamond paintings themselves, and I purchased 6 diamond paintings each time. It’s not maintainable, so I am currently on a no-buy. However I have a very big stash as I purchased a lot from DAC when they still shipped directly to SA. Now I look for destashes. There are some South Africans posting destashes every now and again on Facebook of their DAC kits.

@elmesmit2084 We have some great local suppliers which should be more affordable for you. Check out MTT Diamonds and Oh So Crafty. I have done a few customs with them (videos on my channel) showing their great quality. ❤️

Yes! Because mostly I get these small rolls with my gigantic canvases. And I end up using different colours because it’s not enough, freaking my OCD completely out of course. And I also love the purple tweezers! It’s a thing with DAC that there’s super rare pink tweezers in some kits. I haven’t found a pair yet. Always the black tweezers. So I’m loving these! 🥰💜 xx

Hi David, my love of rings are actually 4th on my jewelry list: I am madly in love with bracelets and charms first and foremost, then necklaces third, and then I guess rings and earrings which are both sort of equal at the bottom of the list and which I own the least of. But seeing as you can only see my hands in most of my videos, I can understand why you would think I love rings most. Thank you for your comment, I take it as a compliment!👌✨

I've actually not opened my last shipment from My US yet, aside from checking that everything was there. It came in May 😂😂 'Nuf said? But when I do I will definitely show you. I've got some leave coming up next week (five glorious day of rest, that only cost me two days leave 😁) so maaaaaybe I'll unbox the then.. After I slept through the first two days.

Yes! You understand what I mean exactly with Uber! It’s taxi’s but private people. So even I can do that, you just register and then via an app people ask for a ride or pick up and you don’t know who you get as a driver and they use their own car! No there’s been some criminal incidents in the news at times. No no no. Woman alone, no I also don’t get in a car with a stranger! 😖 Yeah, the voting in Africa is hectic. Little things can make it better, but even the people needing to find your name struggle reading. It’s employment opportunities, I’m all for that, but it reminds me of my uncle who was a policeman (now retired) who’s ex cop friend who managed the local driving school told him a woman rocked up on a Thursday and asked for a driver’s license as she has never driven in her life but got a job as an ambulance driver starting on the Monday! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Yeah she failed that driving test.

Hehe I think I am happy with my pink and purple KUK trays. Pastel wise those are my fave colours. And it does cost a lot to buy off Etsy something so small and import to SA. So I’m not sure if I’ll get more soon. Never say never though lol! Yes! You know I love anything textured. And that Halloween tray half 3D-ish, so cool, love it! Those oopsy trays are a bargain! None of them I’ve found anything wrong that my OCD would freak out with. Their quality standards are crazy high if those trays of mine are oopsies! Love that about a company. Oh! My purple KUK tray I’ve been using with my big witchy custom, ie squares. Anyways, works really nice. But tx for saying, I struggled with the stopper but now after some use it’s smoother. Though I still can’t stick it in too deep, but that doesn’t bother me. As long as the drills can’t get out of the spout. And they don’t. I love the KUK trays rounded corners. They are so comfy to hold in your hand. I’m using my 1st Firefly tray now. The one with the dragon scales. That switch/glide stopper is something to get used too as well. So cool how each company’s are different. I like that, I use all my trays and pens otherwise I get bored. 🤭 Love and hugs my friend, xx 🤗❤️

Hi! Ek het hierdie een 21 Feb bestel en dit was 14 Maart hier, was dus 3 weke. Minette is baie involved in die hele proses en hou jou op hoogte, want soms is daar mos maar dinge buite mens se beheer, maar ek hou van die vinnige kommunikasie. Van die maatskappye oorsee vat tot 3 maande van bestelling tot aflewering (uitgesluit invoer). So ek is nou lekker bederf met Minette se vinnige turnover time. 😊
