He has a suit made from Vibranium, so i think that should even it out a little.

Him taking the serum is the only way to make Him fighting Red Hulk seem even a little bit realistic and possible otherwise otherwise it just comes off as plot armour ,The best alternative way for them to go about this Sam Wilson not having the serum thing is by giving him a foe that's a little closer to an Equal or Foe a slightly stronger one and unfortunately a red hulk is Absolutely not that like they did for Black widow and Hawkeye and even Steve Rodgers himself with Red Skull ,Him going up against red hulk is Like Captain Rodgers fighting thanos in a One V one

@@IamDMV in the trailer we see Sam fly THROUGH a fighter jet and slice a car in half, but yes he won't "out punch" Red Hulk in any capacity but he has his wing suits flying features, Redwing, Cap's shield and probably a few other tricks up his sleeve. Also he might have totally upgraded suit by the end of the movie besides I don't think his ultimate goal is to kill Red Hulk but just to subdue him, also there is the Leader who might have control of the Red Hulk in some way so defeating him might also be vital. Also also a Captain America facing a foe he has no way of defeating is integral for his character

My main reason that I’m not excited for Doomsday and Secret Wars is because we don’t know who the new avengers will be.
