Glasspacks. So much more natural and musical sounding. It's what I put in my 66' mustang after trying a more modern muffler that sounded like shit.

glass packs an cherry bombs are not the same bro . Cherry Bombs are RED an have more Cracked popping grumble . flow master sound better the closer they are to the header's . glass packs are just loud with a broken sound .

Don’t forget, most current glasspacks are manufactured with ‘half-moon’ dimpling so you CAN install them in either direction, but one direction allows more of the sound to be absorbed, while one direction is considerably louder.

I’ve put Cherry Bombs on countless vehicles. From a 1.5L 1983 Honda Civic station wagon to a 1995 Ford F150 300ci I6. They always sound spectacular, and I’m never disappointed. Best ‘muffler’ ever. Also cheap to buy and replace. Fantastic product.

I had a 1970 chevy chevelle that was jeenks from get go never got to enjoy sounds other than that starter hitting the flywheel wrong and tearing up the flywheel .always troubled car it was a nice clean car too.

I have never been a glass pack fan but those both sound good, I probably don't like GP because so many losers use them on totally wimpy stock vehicles just to make noise. I maybe like the flowmasters a little more!

Almost everything sounds better than flowmasters...or ANY chambered mufflers for that matter.

Those muffler changes were rebolting! Love the glass packs, like a trip back in time (a simpler time when boys were boys).

Nothing beats the sound of headers and glass packs! Old Dodges sound good. But, I must admit, the old Ford small blocks with headers and glass packs were unbeatable in sound.

The glasspacks flow better. No contest. The inside of a "flowmaster" muffler shows it was designed by acoustic engineers, and they didn't know *anything* about fluid mechanics.

Piping it out to the tail would give you the sound you are looking for.It would rapp to beat hell then.

Don't really care for the Flowmasters. That hollow tone never did much for me. I prefer the glass packs, or maybe even Turbo mufflers.

Totally awesome.

Although I grew up in the glass pack era, and sure they sound ok. I have to go with the flow masters here. A much crisper, throating sound, where you can actually hear what the engine is doing. Not just 70s throttle farting.

I have series 50 in mine, 3” 2 in x built in and 2 out. Used to have glass packs but as I get older, I want something a little quieter in the cab. The Flowmaster is do it with the glass packs. It’s really noisy inside the vehicle.
