That was hilarious 😂😂😂 total gobshites
Only 80 years later, people whine about their feelings being hurt. Hard to assimilate in such a relatively short period of time. Leo Major isn’t/wasn’t American, therefore no movie. The movie Argo is a perfect example. You might want to watch a video on that that isn’t influenced by a US point of view
Nov 4th The SAS are the most highly trained special forces in the world bar none. If the SAS are on the ground... YOUR COMPLETELY FUCKED!!
This is why US & UK military are a perfect complimentary force. The UK are second to none in spying & espionage & the US has the tech & firepower to act on the information. What a team!
they wanted to finishing there story,...NO, the SAS wanted to save your life you muslim prick.
Wow... my first watch of this subject as well...great vid Daniel!!
The movie 'operation mincemeat'2022 is worth a watch👍
That is not the only time we tricked hitler.
Thanks
You might want to check out the film the spy who came in from the cold. Excellent
drove it into a lake allegedly lol
The Brits and espionage are second to none.
Algorithmic engagement comment.
Wuzzup fellas!!Spencer would definately be 'Foodie'..... Daniel however...im still workin on 😂
Algorithmic engagement comment.
Really Looking forward to the chat with the history chap 😊, very exciting news. 🤘❤️
That was a brand-new car that had been driven there by I believe one of the news reporters who didn't listen to the engineers who told him that was too close to the blast but parked there anyway.
When they say, America was a good idea that got out of hand, I totally get it now🤣🤣🤣
I think I remember watching this on the news here in England at the time
"The Man Who Never Was" was a great 1956 film about this. Strange to think that the actual incident occurred when I was a chubby little bugger of three months!
Somewhere there is an insurance claim form with "whale hit my car" on it.
Thanks for the membership to whomever provided it ! I really appreciate it😊
War names? Virgin & Veteran, seems obvious. This story is way better than Fury, but if this story was the film no one would have believed it. Outstanding.
Take your time! Do however much you want to. 😊❤

The BBC has a show called SAS: Rogue Heroes, about how the SAS started. worth a watch
Only this. ruclips.net/video/g8BG6eutvWs/видео.htmlfeature=shared
there is a famous story about the gurkas and shoelaces the british army bar their laces many others criss-coss theirs ...germans wore no lace jack boots the gurkas would sneak up on people and feel their laces and if they were not barred you were dead
'They knew what they were doing' - the price is high.
Arabistan became the UK only a short time later.
Bullshit on the forced labour some.of the black men fought next to.the boers
We The Boers did not go into war because of slaves we got to the point because the british wanted the gold in witwaterand and the majority of land was bought from.the natives
Daniel, Royal Naval record's and other countries record's vary rarely agree, but he's a legend.
I was stationed in Norfolk Virginia for a while and you are right. Virginia sucks. Their laws are out of this world. I had a buddy that got arrested for drinking in his apartment. The Norfolk police were in the courtyard of his apartment complex on another mater when they noticed he was drinking in his living room with the curtains open so he was in plain view, Now isn't that wild.
Its not true about being short of planes RAF were producing more planes than the Germans
I will point out that the strange thing about this Sabaton History is that they don't really discuss White Friday. The 13th December 1916, which in strangeness was a Wednesday but hey thats what they called it. Its the 2nd most deadly avalanche in recorded human history killing up to 10,000 Austro-Hungarian and Italian soldiers. Devastating both sides mountain troops to a degree that neither side could take advantage of it. The soldier in the video is Austrian. I will add that in WW2 Italys mountains saw renewed war though the peaks of the mountains in the south were lower the difficulties were still as intense. See the fighting to break the Gustav Line for an example. Or indeed look at the service of the US 10th Mountain Division in the Italian campaign.
THe lack of a VC is due to secrecy / security concerns rather than a lack of respect. I suspect it goes with the job & being a legend amongst the Regiment is respect enough for anybody
Wow that must have been so surreal for the men inside the buildings. 😮 Great reaction as always, Daniel! ❤ There is just one thing, that I don’t understand. After killing the guards, why didn’t the attackers just enter the buildings? Or was there another barrier that I didn’t think of? (as a civilian) How much of a obstacle is such a barbed wire? (Sorry if I overlooked something obvious 😅)
whats the problem the lads [sas] did what they where trained for nowadays some idiot would be dishing out soft drinks and biscuits pror to negotians
Canadians are Humble. We do not " Toot " our own horn , we let our actions speak for themselves. Check out my Great Uncle Vivian David Currie , a Scottish born Canadian ledgend, my Grandmothers brother. Immigrated before ww2 my Granie and Grandfather immigrated after the war Poor Granie she just about lost her mind with fear for her brother and her husband, he was serving with the British and Uncle David ( he never used Vivian ) volunteered for the Canadians.
That tank is like taking a rocket launcher to a knife fight lol. Just looking at that tank is like a meme for "Say your American without saying..." damn dude. That looks like a kid drew his dad a picture of a tank, and the dad went, say less son. If the farmers were from Texas, then it was definitely a hold my beer situation. I have seen my dad MacGyver some crazy shit, but that tank has to take the cake dude. And, that is saying something because I was daddies little girl and had him on a pedestal of epic proportions, I mean the guy could look at a problem, bust out the power tools and have it fixed by dinner time, and when he got kicked in the head by a mule he punched the mule, knocked it out, had me tape up his head and three broken fingers, grabbed his lunch and took his self to work, to build a highway overpass on heavy equipment. He was pedestal material. Grandfather was the same, he worked the oil field, had a damn massive heart attack, took some aspirin and went to work, no one even knew until he had a gallbladder attack and did blood tests. Came out of a 8 hours of surgery and demanded a damn cheeseburger, or he was going to stomp someone's butt. They literally retired his rig with him, when he retired. My other grandfather was laid up in bed with a broken back, decided he wanted a beer, got on the phone and an hour later the literal Budweiser truck pulled up and hand delivered a 12 pack to the front door. Then there is grandpa long, who literally cut his finger off with a chainsaw after the branch fell, dipped it in campho phenique , taped it back together, and went back to work cutting down the tree with the chain saw. Hell my 13 year old daughter was recently care flighted, slipped out of her stretcher restraints, and when the paramedics tried to get on to her, hit them with, " What, are you gonna pull over" and got to ride the rest of the way in the copilots seat. Then made really good friends with the hospital security team after she knocked out a nurse coming out of anesthesia because she tried to keep her in her room. Don't get me started on the women, or family history. I could write a book. It takes something to impress me, that tank does it. The aiming and targeting idea is amazing, it looks like a " fire in the general direction and blow it all to hell" type of design.

You are legend caroline! Thank you for everything
@WreckedNation01 no worries Daniel.
They're also a pretty decent cigar. Personally I recommend the Ghosts.
It's an interesting phenominon. We have our stories that we love toshare about our time in the service. Some of them are hilarious, some of them are nail biters but all of us have that one. The one you either dont share with anyone or if you do share, it's with another vet that you hold in high regard. Some of us even have a collection of those stories thaat just sit in the vault and rarely if ever get taken out. Were more likely to tell epic tales of events our comrades were the main character of then those where we were at the center. It is what it is. These are events that often changed our lives forever. Events that we wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat because of. I know few vets who dont have at least one of those tucked away. All I can say is that while we appreciate you all saying "thank you for your service" and I will never discourage someone from doing so, for us, it can be a little awkeward. If we dont reply back, please dont feel insulted because most of us have never gotten comfortable with it or found an adequate response. We do still appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts and know this, it was our greatest honor to serve.
Missed the live, but catching up now
Great to hear the sickness is almost gone hooray .....dont be putting to much pressure on urself to get stuff up we all understand ...thank crunchie its friday bank holiday weekend here and clocks go bk am hour so wahoo extra hour in bed ...
Jealous!!! And thanks Ali!
@@WreckedNation01 mind urself have a great weekend
I'm here for it #that. and yeah, I'm all about the rabbit holes you want to go down. Your exctement makes for more enjoyable content. It's kind of why I've been binge watching ETS and this for days now I have commented on other videos but yes, I'm a vet but not from the standard branches. I'm Coast Guard and I've heard every joke in the book, especially since I'm from a Navy family and currently work for the Navy but most people have no cluewhat all the CG does. Because we are so small, we typically have multiple jobs so I was an Electronics Tech by rating but I was also a Boarding Officer (Law Enforcement) and a flight deck rescueman (the guy in the silver suit that pulls the helicopter crew out when/if they crash on deck) I have tons of stories and experiences.
Thanks for watching and thanks you for your service
@@WreckedNation01 still watching. You have a ton of great content. Feel free to reach out any time you want to hear about the Coast Guard or want the perspective of a Coastie. I'm considering teaching out to Nic because there is a ton of great stories that I know his (and your) audience would enjoy. You don't get much more obscure than the Coast Guard.
