I’ve slightly wide feet and have recently purchased Chuck 70s in size 8.5. They’re so snug that i only wear thin socks. Would I get a little more room and , maybe fit in thicker socks with the Chuck Taylor All Stars or should I order half a size bigger? Those size 8.5 already look a bit big on me tho so I’m wondering if I can get away with getting the same size on the OGs

I like both the LP812 and Double Knee definitely the way to go ifcyoy likecthe baggy look. Dickies in addition to the regular double knees make an industrial double knee that has the patches in different places and reinforced pockets.

I don't understand why people are saying go a size down. I'm a UK 7 or 7.5 and I bought a size 7. The chucks were too tight around the toe box. They seem to be narrower around this area than your normal Converse. Can anyone advise?

hey I wear 42 on af1s and I recently bought 41.5 Chuck 70s but when I tried them on they were a little short on the front and my toes were touching the front end. Should I return them and get 42 or should I keep them so that they strech up a bit?

Size down. I went to Converse store to get fitted for Chuck 70. I tried on every Chuck 70 size btwn 8D-10D. Chuck 70’s 8.5D was snug but the closest to perfect w/o being too loose. 9D was wearable w/ additional sneaker insole but I think would be too loose over time. Canvas and quality leather does stretch noticeably over the 1st full 72 hrs of walking in them. For ref I measure just under US 9.5D on Brannock device and I wear a US 10D in Vans, Nike,Adidas, New Balance, and Reebok. In non - sneakers I wear a US 8.5D in Clark’s, Red Wing, AUS 8.5 Blundstone and US 9-9.5D in Allen Edmonds boots and dress shoes (depending on the last). Hope this helps.

My original pair of All-Star are a size UK8 and I alway found them to have a little more toe room than I like, so I went with UK7.5 on the 70s and at first I found them tight, but after wearing them in the house for an hour or so, my feet are getting more comfortable in them. They look so much better than the All-Stars too!
