Do you have a pattern for the headband that I can purchase?
It's a free pattern from Daisy Farm Crafts. If you go to their blog you can search (or google) for Ribbled Velvet Twist Headband.
The little bit that is left might be enough for a hat or scarf for a plushy. If you make different amigurumi that might look cute

I've struggled with that too the best patterns account for that if you know that your work leans in that way change your count to match the flow of the line you want. Loved your video.
